I took a pic of it with the sun directly hitting that particular side of the car to get a better idea. Havent touched it yet meaning taking it even lower.
I think it looks good at that height. Before...it was SUV high
ya it looks good enough, ill just keep it at this height. Im just gonna replace my bubbled rear tint and smoke the side markers with a black front grill. Ill call it a day on the exterior. I agree about before i would walk to the car looking at it from far away thinking wow thats at its lowest setting and its sitting that high lol.
Bruh go lower if you want to. I personally prefer no wheel gap on cars but that's me. BeeJ said it perfectly, it's your car and your decision, don't let others persuade you otherwise. We all know u wanna go lower hahaha, just do it like NIKE.
This is me-anti wheel gap... personal preference. I mildly stretched some 245/40's on my rears... I"m 2wd not 4matic.
Its such a small amount you cant tell i know from the pics but in person its lower for sure. I lowered rear by 4cm and front 2cm. I measured before and after. This is on its lowest setting.
i realize a couple cm in the front and a few out back is hardly noticable if at all but in person im happy with the results. I should drive around a few minutes and then retake pics to see if it settles more if it does ill do more pics tomorrow
I lowered my car but found tires don't last very long. Yes I had the alignment done 3x sense lowering. Being overly cautious any pot holes. I had to raise the car up a little also to aid in some wheel travel. Looks like the rear needs to go up about 1/2. The negative camber is just beating the inside edge. The beck is lower than the pictures show

love the wagon looks really badass glad you decided to raise it back up a bit. I think with lowering and ive owned tons of cars that ive lowered, you just gotta find that balance of the ride height your looking for but not compromise something else that will become a headache down the road. Like tires or constantly bottoming out or scraping your front bumper. I think im gonna buy a matt black front grill with the merc star and delete the one on the hood with a flat one.
I have been thinking about replacing the star on the hood with a flat one. The only grill I toyed with was a factory E55.
The rear shot I was only getting 4k out of the rears 245/275-18 look to me just assume from the rear!
Think I LOVE my wagon? HeHe
4K is super low woww. I know when i initially lowered it i put a couple of thousand on my old tires before dumping them they came free but were terrible tires lots of road noise that had to go. I didnt see any unusual tire wear issues at all. On these tires i dont see it either but maybe i need to put more miles. I also dont have that negative camber look either when looking at it from the back. I did lower it just a tad more not sure if that will start giving me issues. Also an update, lowering it just a tad more wow its super stiff and hardly any body roll. I didnt know just lowering it an extra 4cm back and 2cm front would make that much of a difference. It dies ride a bit harsh now vompared to when i first lowered it, it was tolerable but now its a bit jarring. Since ive driven stiff riding cars i know ill get use to it.
