new 2016 E63 AMG-S Wagon- what's a fair offer?
$124k MSRP, very nice car. Been sitting on their lot for months, and they have a second one wasting away there as well.
Considering that the 2017 E63 Sedan (and maybe Wagon) will be debuted at Paris '16 in two weeks, what kind of deal could one get on this car?

I'm a cheapskate and would come in at $95k minus fleet discount = $92500
then they'll say "oh we are getting offers all over the USA for this and some international clients"
and I would say, great, sell it then but keep my number if you wanna deal

I have been seeing a ton of brand new 2015s online as well (sedans and wagons), are the AMGs just not selling much anymore?
Could be a reason a more reasonably priced E43 is in the works I suppose

And yes, I agree, still lots of new 2015/16 E63 on lots given that we are at least a month in to MY2017.

Thanks! Not a lot of room to move with those official numbers, but I wonder how low they will go if they get desperate?

exactly --- what number of days will make them just move it at auction ... They tend to hang onto the wagons it seems as people look for these nationally

at this stage you can't look at invoice and price accordingly
you need to look at auction prices for this model and pay a little extra for the fact the car is brand new.
either them or you are going to lose money on the car. why you?
this is not unique to MB
M5/M6 are not selling well , but BMW always come up with great lease offers on these cars and make them attractive.

I have certainly made it a national search!
Okay, so if this thing won't sell new, it will end up in auction? Where could one find comps. for auction price? What kind of premium over the auction price is worth it to them?

walk into that dealership and tell them the mannheim numbers and what you know about their ongoing losses and let them wax on about all the people that are calling them about this wagon yet ironically it's still sitting there getting flat spots on the tires

the dealer can show you auction prices if they are honest
premium above that depends on multiple factors. Is the car punched in or not
is this the exact car you want, then allow couple extra thousands
if you go out of town, then you have to add shipping cost
bottom line:
if they are honest and being fair , then you can come to agreement . They know with a refresh of the E , they want to get rid of the car, they might lose money on it, may be not, MB
probably have some trunk money on them that we don't know about

I will sell you mine if you want to save a bit from whatever the dealer wants to drop to. I bought it new in late April and it has 512 miles on it now.
I took it straight from the dealer and had the full front half wrapped in XPEL and the entire car paint corrected and opti-coat plus installed, including the wheels removed and inner barrels. I also let it sit at the shop indoors for 3 weeks for the opti-coat to properly cure.
I just really don't drive it so have been considering selling it as winter is about to hit us here so it will sit another 8 months as we get 300"-400" of snow annually.
Has MSRP a bit north of $120k as optioned + the $3400 in prep work I had done once I took delivery. If you were interested I'd be happy to forward the build sheet, etc.
