I am pleased to say my car passed its MOT (UK annual car test), however the garage said that my emission levels were not great.
I have no issues with driving or starting my car, no smoke from exhaust etc but I ran a fault scan with my OBD2 and I got two faults:
P0301 - power train cylinder 1 misfire.
P0341 - power train cam shaft position sensor 'A' circuit range performance, bank 1 or single sensor.
Would you think the two faults are related to a faulty crank shaft position sensor? As I have never changed it with 180k miles on my car? Again my car starts and drives perfect!?
If something with the cam sensor is causing a mis then that could throw the codes. Start by looking for vacuum leaks, and the cam sensor. Others here may have had it happen and have the solution.
