Not an MB but...
I always wanted a mustang when i was living in America but cant afford it. now its avail here down under in RHD for the first time for around AU$55k. (2.3 Ecoboost, the V8 is about 10k more i reckon).
i know it doesnt compare with our MBs especially the quality particularly the interior. and I never owned another car brand apart from MBs for almost 2 decades.
i tried the Mustang forums as well and awaiting some replies, althoug im mot expecting anything much from there as i know a lot of purists when it comes to Mustangs hate the idea of a 4cyl Pony, so i thought maybe some on here have first hand experience (maybe not the 2.3l). im not very particular with the engine power though. any input is appreciated. cheers!

v8s are pretty fast tho. but still.... if it was a DD maybe.... would i love it ? idk to be honest... i like luxury a lot. maybe if the inside was nicer more luxury and stylish.... but yea... basicly my point

i know exactly what you mean mate. i was reading a few reviews and the "cheap feel in the interior" was mentioned a few times. then one reviewer said, "for around AU$55k for a mustang, it is cheap".
never had an American car before and i prolly wont unless its a mustang or a vette.
btw, it comes with 3 yrs/100,000 klms warranty plus under $1k for the 3 yrs service.

fit/finish is a bit plasticky, never seen one but hopefully soon. now i dont just rely on reviews so im looking for first hand experience if possible. but is it really that bad?

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I know there was an update with the HU from June 2016. Sync 3 or something. Not sure about the screen size but they said update can mirror iphone with car play. Can you remember if the screen size is the same or bigger from the interior pic i posted above?
Happy hunting Beej!
most of the cars my family owned were Jap and Euro.
the link I posted was sold right away. hope I can wrangle the right pony soon.

that exterior is so smooth tho..make it look nice and its a perfect dd , but not for long trips , and let it beva manual one , might as well get the most out of it.
i wish they were cheaper a lil tho.

Haha, im at 70/30 on doin the trade. I just need a lil bit more push from myself. Lol but the magnetic color is warmin up on me. Sadly, no manual though, i want the option of the mrs being able to drive it if and when.
ahh yea , in that case automatic only....
just make sure to get all the options available , the more the better.
lol
ima go trade in mine too hahah
So basically, your choice is manual, auto, 4cyl or V8...and color.

and i dont know what LSD is , but sure does sound like a drug jk jk
nice , sounds like you got some good deals out there.
and as i read above you want a 4 cyl? v6 woulda been perfect tho.. but oh well
It was only offered her in 4cyl and V8, i think out there its the V6 & V8. But theres only 6hp difference between the 4cyl and V6 and needs lower rpm to peak, not to mention better petrol mileage.
What problems did you encounter after 3-4 yrs? Suspension, engine or interior? Car comes with 3yr/100,000k warranty so thats a worry.
It was mostly a material quality issues and drivability. A lot of the cheaper interior and exterior material start to wear after 3 years and the car to starts to loosen up after a couple of year unlike Mercedes which stay tight for the long time.
but would you say its worst than say, nissan?
*no offense to nissan owners. ive never had an American car before so ive got nothing to compare it with.
its the best!
Also, even if you find the power lacking in the 4-cylinder ecoboost, there are ways to make it faster :B
