I cant get on the mercedes certified pre owned national cars inventory.
It only lets you put in a zip code and bring up the 4 closest dealers.
Does anybody know what happened?

The change seems to be permanent. You can access more dealers by putting in your zip code at the top of the page. A side window opens up on the left, and you can expand the dealer search by clicking on the dropdown arrow. Really sucks. I doubt I would have found my 2014 ML350 in Georgetown, TX had the current web search been the only one available.

For me, it only shows the closest dealer (within 25 miles). If I want to look at other dealers I have to put in a different zip code.
I'm guessing the dealers were complaining that you can see other dealer inventory and pricing, so they want to reduce competition among dealers so they make it much more difficult to search inventory between dealers.
I miss the old site. Used it to help several friends find their CPO vehicles.

Inventory search - gone, disappointed
I noticed this also and was quite disappointed.
Does anybody know of a way around this or an alternative?
This will definitely make purchase consideration more difficult for the discerning consumer. Maybe even to the point that MB will lose sales to competing brands or simply a discouraged customer.

I think this was a bad decision on the part of MB. When you have a product to sell you want to get it in front of as many as possible not fewer

I agree. But one of the issues might have been the time it would take to load the search. If you chose a popular model and went out say 1,000 miles, it had to gather up the info from possibly a hundred or more dealers. I remember using the old search engine and it taking awhile to load. Just a thought......
