WHAT is this bit!!!
Hi guys, so reversing out a parking space, there was a little bollrd very low to the ground that I didn't see when I swung around the front at low speed; ripping the bumper off before I knew it was happening.
Other than a deformed wheel arch, scratched paint, a couple broken rivets and some broken plastic wheel arch liner bits, which is easily repairable/replaceable.... There's not as much damage as I had anticipated.
Anyhow, putting it all back together properly now, and there's this one piece I collected off the floor. No part number, I can't identify it on WIS, and neither can I see one somewhere on the other 'still attached' side of the car...
Any ideas??
Cheers,
Ben

No worries guys! Thankyou for your suggestions Rodney, it was driving us mad trying to think about where it went! Wasn't broken off-just looked like it popped off.
It is hard to describe, but it turns out that on the lower grill, on either side, on the radiator side of the bumper, there was one either side, and at best I guess you could describe it as a wind deflector.
Trying to direct the air coming in from the lower grill through the intercooler, and away from the areas behind the front fogs.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but I recall it being part of one piece, hence the quetion about it looking broken. Either I didn't remember the design, or your style is slightly different. I got into all these "innards" when I pulled the bumper to have it painted.

Ahhhh yes, as you can see in my footer photo, I've not the sport body kit, which I believe yours did. So the design may be different. Can't imagine why they didn't mold it into the grill, but nm, it's back where it belongs now!
