I have the Pro Clip console mount and an IPhone 6 drop in cradle. Snaps into the right side of the center console. Works great. If you still have the cradle all you'll need is the mount.

Is that the clip that is really long on the right side of the console? It looks odd in pictures. More info would be great if you can send a picture. Thanks.
Yeah I have open pore too. That pic with the flash makes the mount look much more prominent than it is. It also looks gray in the pic but it's actually a solid black. I'll get a pic in the AM.

for some reason this is the only photo I can find right now.. lol It holds my iPhone 7 Plus in a case with ease, and can turn 360 degrees, and is easily removable (makes it great for the times you have a loaner or a rental)
Along the inside of the bracket, then under the edge of the console back around to the rear of the console. It's exposed from the bottom edge of the rear console and then goes in between the console doors.
I've looked at alternate mounts but none have a very elegant way to handle the cable, and I want to go direct from the device into COMAND via USB for audio (and charging). The ProClip's drop in mount with integrated lightning cable seems to work best.
I am happy with the result of the ProClip. Worth the money easily because it looks good, holds the phone well, easy to push in for charging and can come off easily for resale. Nothing else seems to compare.
honestly i would have preferred it to have it on the left side.
I would have originally agreed, but there isn't a lot of space there. I don't think it would work for me on the left (perhaps because I have long legs?!)
I really like proclip products but in our case, it seems like it is too far away and is a big distraction if I need to even glance at it.
I am all ears. At first I started this looking for other options but ended up back at ProClip. I would replace it if Infound something better. The vent clips and CD inserts are all useless with the console design.
I would like like to see something that holds the phone to the left of the screen?
In addition to the cradle, if you want charging and the USB connection to COMAND you want something that doesn't have a visible cable dangling off it. The drop-in design with an integrated Lightning jack lets you connect the phone with one hand.
