I gotta say, you really revived that car... and quickly too. Gave it a 2nd chance at life, and it looks phenomenal man.
i had a similar story with a very poorly upkept black 05 E55. I turned it around 100% but sold it quickly too... being as OCD as im with my cars, I couldn't deal with black paint. That was my first and last black car ever, haha.

Thanks man! Yah I've owned 2clk55 and both were black. It was such a love hate relationship. I don't usually keep my cars for that long so we'll see how long I have this gas guzzler.

Did you change the bulbs on the headlights?
Also what bulbs did you get for the park lights? Them seem to match well. This is on my to do list.

looks great and questions: Did you remove the stock chrome rings that surround the headlamps? Or just black out the rings? Or purchase aftermarket black rings?

Very nice car man I recently just picked up an 04 E55 myself recently changed all the fluids, plugs, filters, lower control arms + ball joints, motor mounts. Still has a few little things to do to it but I plan on putting on a heater exchanger bigger pump and tune and either bigger crank pulley or smaller s/c pulley not sure yet.
