Okay guys, I have searched the DIY threads and watched countless videos on how to remove center console and I'm stuck. I am working on step one of removing the brushed trim ring which attaches to arm rest console. I have the front lifted totally up but cannot release the rear. Pics attached. I cannot find a way to release the rear of the unit.
Thanks everyone for the quick responses! I eventually got the part removed. You have to wedge a small screw driver between the seem in the back of the piece and literally pull up along the seem. Its annoying that it takes this much force as it ends up tearing up the edge of that seem. At least its hidden inside the glove box.
