Will get some more pictures posted soon.

Its currently freezing fog here in the UK so not the best for pictures.

A few people have been asking to see more pictures of the colour combination, so here are some after a quick clean a few days ago.

I'm planning on getting some good pictures taken by a friend soon once the weather clears / warms up. Will post these soon.

Pardon the kids transporter in the background...

Not yet. My drive is on a sideways slope so the suspension looks off in the above pictures.

I think the suspensions fine for now. The roads here in the UK are not great and I'm in the middle of the countryside so I've had mixed experiences with previous lowered cars. Some of the roads are so twisty, bumpy and broken its difficult to find a good suspension match as a lot of systems are designed on flat roads and tracks.

I am however looking into a front Edition 1 splitter and rear "flicks".

I love your car but I wonder, having the money to pay for it but not having a place to store and preserve it is weird. Without the S you could rent a garage for years and on your country roads you would not feel the difference with a C43. And a C43 would be 4MATIC. Giving the frosty pictures you posted, not a bad idea ...

Funny you should write that when in the background of the pic in your post there is a garage there. Even Bluetonic's kid transporter gets a bedroom looking at his pics. But, hey what do I know...

as you can see it's an old garage and probably too small ... I think it doesn't fit given the fact it is outside in the cold. Also not good for the oil in such a machine. That will ruin the engine!

The plan is for her to live in the in the garage in the background but I need to get it ready first and this was a rare early frost which isn't really going to kill the car occasionally.
The C63S is NOT a daily driver and while I've had a few 4WD cars, I love the dynamic of a V8 RWD to part with it.

There's no real secure rentable garages in the middle of the Oxfordshire countryside and Uber hasn't made it out to the "shire" yet, so short term storage 5-10 miles away is not practice. The only other option is to keep it in a friends barn with occasional livestock and wildlife trying to use it as a new house.

I am however less than 2 hours from Silverstone, Donnington park, Bedford, Rockingham, Mallory park and Castle Combe. Plus have some most amazing A roads in the UK locally in the Cotswolds, so I'm really a little spoiled for places to take my C63S when it is nice and the councils have fixed the pot-holes.

Your spot on!
The garage is actually only 10 years old (its the local cotswold stone that makes it look older) but still the doors are next to useless. The car fits through technically but I really wouldn't want to risk it (theres like 5cm clearance each side).
I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so builders can work on getting the 2 doors replaced with one massive automatic one. I also have to try and work out how I'm going to store the motorbikes I have in there too!
The wife has suggested selling them

Big garages like the ones common in most of the US are quite rare in the UK and for good sized private car storage (not just underground car parks) you really have to have a purpose built / converted garage, a BIG house with land (where I live that's £1.5M+) or a converted barn or out building.

If I had enough money to have a house big enough to build a purpose built 3 car garage with workshop (which I would need) it would be housing a Porsche GT3 in it not a C63S!

Have to say the sales experience from my dealership Mercedes-Benz Coventry UK was fantastic. From the first call to taking the cover off the car they were excellent. Not the biggest UK showroom but if you are in the UK and looking to buy speak with Tom thier AMG specialist.
That right there my friend is automotive nirvana. The very definition of car beauty. Many congratulations!! Enjoy it in good health. I hope to graduate to the C63s sometime and this beauty is my inspiration. Thank you for the pics.

Glad to hear the car will be well taken care of
In Belgium we have the same storage problem in some areas (like mine Brussels). I suppose you know more about cars than me but don't underestimate the viscosity of your fabric (racing) oil in low temperatures.
Have a nice ride and don't listen to your wife
