You know, you could..... um, buy the car and charge a nice little 'finders fee' for the next person from Albuquerque to show up wanting the car....
Travis, I'm actually in Albuquerque next Tuesday night, and if you're back in town by then I'll buy you a congratulatory beer (shown proof of actual car of course).

Thought about the finders fee, but the currency exchange blew me out lol.
Ima let Travis post up his pics of the car, he's in signing his life away right now. I saw it sitting in the "launch room", but I waited for his arrival to go look. It is a confirmed #SexyBeast.
I gotta head back in an hour. Going to try to squeeze Travis for a cheeseburger first. Nice satin white C63S cabrio here with two tone interior.

Ugh the cab does absolutely NOTHING for me. I'm not a fan of them anyway, but I think the C63 cab looks particularly ugly. See if they'll let you take it around the block though.
What is the red car next to it with the front flics though?
Enjoy your cheeseburger

CLA45. Dude at a driving event told me they added the canards this year and it helped the handling a shocking amount.
Heres a few other things they have. Pardon the crappy phone pics. Love the S63 cabrio

So wait, I thought you were picking him up at the airport? You just drove out there to make sure this was legit?

We arent used to snow round here, so people arent prepared and even the AWD guys are in summer tires. When I got up this morning it was -4, snowing, one kids school closed and their was an icy road advisory. Its been pretty nasty, cos we've been getting sun in the morning to melt it, then rain in the afternoon to make the snow heavy and then the whole lot freezes overnight. Pretty nasty, kids playing hockey on ice skates in the street. Seriously. Besides, no amount of snow makes 5-6 hrs of driving any easier.
It did really clear up about half way though, and it was beautiful in Lynnwood.
Didnt pick Travis up at the airport, cos he flew into Tacoma which is wrong side of Seattle for me. But hey, it was a chance to meet someone I talk to online, and to give some support to a member of our community who's a long way from home. And....I said I would I like a road trip as much as the next guy. I might even do the same for you Jason
All in all it was a good day. Even stopped off on the way home and sold a house, just to pay for gas. Speaking of which, I am always amazed at the highway mileage of this car. In the city, I get 225kms on a full tank. Today, with almost all highway driving I got almost 400 on about 3/4 of a tank. Thats about 250 miles.

Oh, and one more bit of business.....
Way back when this started, I made a crack that if Travis was still hanging around here in 6 months time I would make a $50 charitable donation. Well time to put up AND shut up.
In honor of his veteran status, and our new little pup Smokie and the joy she has brought us the last few months, I have donated $50 to Wounded Warriors, and in particular their program to provide dogs to to those vets who suffer from PTSD. What a cool program. Anyways, chalk it up to one more good thing to come out of this. I attach the proof, and a pic of Smokie, cos she's cute and makes me laugh.
My work here is done for the day

Here are a few pictures from today..
I was absolutely speechless when I saw the car in person. I could not believe that I was the owner of something that nice. Its definitely the nicest car ive ever owned. The car is just ferocious on the road it just begs for more and more speed. I think the best way to describe the car just savage ... Im kicking around plate ideas.. SAVAGE1, BLTZKRG, BKBEAST, BEASTLY, and NO KIDS are just a few..
Darryl came down to meet up as promised despite some delays on my part. Thanks so much Darryl for driving 6hrs round trip just for a meet and greet..Very awesome on his part.
Overall today was an amazing day it started at 3am Mountain time and its now 11:15pm pacific. Tomorrow should be an 11-12 road time with some interest stops along the way.

It's kind of a compulsive joke with some budddies. It's an E for East Vancouver, which is traditionally the more blue collar part of town. I live in the Main Street area though, which has become just rotten with hipsters who go to fancy barber shops to maintain their weird little beards before going to work to make something 'artisanal'.
Trying to keep it real Lol
