what sucks about palstidipping mirrors , is that , it looks cheap on mirrors. (ive seen some vehicles with them painted in black)
like it just dont go there.
id suggest to buy a new used set or have them painted(you can even use that gloss spray http://www.us.autodip.com/do-it-yourself/#buy ) or wrap it with vinyl.
Sometimes. If you leave a matte finish then it will def look cheap. Now if it's done properly with true metallic dip and glossifier then it looks just as good and the best thing is that if you get tired of that color you can peel it right off!

i guess i yet have to see how it would look with metalizer since i already know how it looks matte and with glosifier. once its warmer outside i will try to wrap them , since i have some vinyl wrap left over
Yeah dip is a good and cheap way to see if you like the look. I did it at first, but ended up removing and getting it all painted instead. If you do the chrome lip 2014+ I would recommend wrapping it. It gets too many nicks, mine is already getting chipped a lot and it's been a month 😫
For mirrors i would just buy black or carbon, stock black ones are not that expensive, carbon is going to run you $250-300 for the actual replacement. Don't do the ones with tape. I changed mine to CF and it looks awesome imo.

I'm debating on a lip spoiler and I want to get rid of the orange turn signal lights in the headlight assembly. I have carbon mirror cover replacements on their way and I have a RW Carbon rear wing to replace my vynyl carbon wrapped factory wing. Links a little later once the stealership nails down an airmatic issue that they can't figure out.

in the past the malfunction would appear after putting the car in comfort and going over a bumps. Now the car will just be in sport for the longest time and I will accelerate hard (overtaking) and then the light will pop up for malfunction.
2014 Luxury gets a Star... and fogs
always like the hood ornament, so passed on the Sport model... and got out the toolkit:
figured while the bumper was off for the Parking Assist install, may as well take advantage of it.

Do you want to sell your old grill?
PM me if so.
Edit: disregard, just noticed it doesn't come with a spot for the front camera.
Finally been able to do some minor mods. Had a small tree limb incident that slowed progress down a bit. Search "TreeSchwitz" on the W212 board for details on that mess.
Anyway, tint, removed E350 badge, lip spoiler, AMG rear diffuser and OEM E63 exhaust tips. Wheels very soon, thanks to Becksan.

Cool looking. What did the rear diffuser/exhaust tips cost? It's on my to do list, but I'm not sure about the install difficulty.
