nope if you are using toyo tyres. it's slightly narrower than the others.
its only E300 with non-airmatic suspension
Ah, non-US car -different story. Tire's (tyre's) width has nothing to do with fitting 245/35-20 on US non-airmaitc W212 E class cars - its tire's hight (diameter). Almost all 245/35-20 tires' diameter is 26.8", with a few at 26.7". We know that on US W212 cars, 26.6" diameter is max - which is 245/40-19 tire. On US airmatic equipped cars though (all 2010-11 US E550s are), 245/35-20 is possible.

ThreeMBs knows his tires but who is running 245/40/19 ? I thought 26.5" diameter was the max.

Yes you're correct, 26.5" is the max, which means 235/40-19 is the max.
I'm a bit too lazy to do a detailed search, but if memory serves me right, there was someone (somewhere on W212 board) who was able to find a 245/40-19 tire (do not remember the brand) at 26.6" diameter (instead of 26.7" for most) and fit it upfront of E350.
