Here's a black one

BMW M3's and 4's are 6 cylinders, sign of the times. Even MB 8's now a days are tiny, 4.0L, which is the same displacement as a 6 in a Porsche GT3rs. Its not the size of the engine MB/AMG is using in their "lite's" that's the problem, its the HP/TQ that they are putting out, and then throwing an AMG badge on it.
I love this blacked out E63, looks awesome, but like others have said, whew, that interior is hideous.

I was replying to someone speaking about a 6 and a 4 getting put into a MB and slapping AMG badges on it. I think the 43's(lites) should have more power if its an AMG, being a 6 cylinder is not the problem, 6's are capable of making plenty of power(500hp comfortably) for a car considered a lite version.
As for the 63's, for right now they are going down in size but up in power, stock, that's ok for people that don't tune, but for people that tune I can't imagine these engines capable of making more power than a tuned M157.

Not that it matters for US customers but here is a rare pic of the base E63 with 19" wheels. ive been searching the web for pics with the 19s without luck till now simply because ive seen 3 reviews mention excessive tire noise on the 20s. Personally I'm not for big wheel is better if it compromises ride quality.

I like it. I like it. I like it. Black or Grey exterior... night package... and silver twin-spoke or cross-spokes.
Looking at the lines of the new E63, I'm even more excited for the E-Coupe and next generation CLS. As far as power is concerned, we're all going to have to accept the fact that small displacement, hybrid, and zero emissions is where the automotive industry is heading. It's a byproduct of technology. There's almost no reason to offer huge V8s and V12s anymore, other than they sound good.

Either black or white with night package is a must. Not a big fan of all the chrome. The edition 1 is sick too.

Actually, it's not a question of "s" or non-s tailpipes, it's a question of Nightpackage and chrome tailpipes...could be a dealer mod
It's for sale at a franchised mercedes dealer in the netherlands,
here's another at a dealership

The one in the video has the "s" exhaust tips (blacked out w/ night package), but neither one has a 4MATIC+ badge:
That is also the first one that I have seen with 732 Carbon Fiber trim console and 739 Trapeze Cut Aluminum trim together.

1. The black one does have the 4MATIC+ badge but the one in the video doesn't.
2. In European configurator you can order carbon centre console and aluminium trim, so that explains the carbon and aluminium.
3. However factoring in the chrome tailpipes with nightpackage on the black one, the lack of the "4MATIC+" on what is clearly an S-model in the youtube vid and i just realised the black car also has the external carbon package which according to the configurator you cant have along with night package, I think it's safe to say you are right and these actually are pre-prods.
4. BTW the exhaust tips are the same on the S and non-S, according to the configurator, what determines finish is whether or not you spec the "night package"
it's for sale, I thought they destroyed pre-prods!!

Nice...the black one does have the 4MATIC+.
The German configurator shows the difference that I am referring to.
E63:
E63s:
Personally, I like the ones on the E63 better.

I went to a dealership which also had an E63S with non-S chrome exhausts tips and non-+ badge. I asked about those things but they couldn't tell me. They didn't know why it was specced this way. In the Netherlands, the E63 is already for sale.
This car looks so much better in person!

Wow... good info you guys!
Damn, that matte paint is freak'n stunning... I am really trying to hold strong and wait for an upgraded interior, but you guys are killing me! (I don't think I'll be able to hold out until MY19 )

I had this same finish on my F10 M5. It is well worth it. Matte paint is also a lot less work to maintain.

If some of these are for sale in different countries already, does anyone know why or the reasons as to why certain countries get the cars first? What is the method to MB release of the cars?
And I'm slowly falling for this car. It I still want to see one first.
