So I went to the Atlanta car show yesterday and was severely disappointed. I was hoping to possibly see a new E63s but.........nope, not a single one. When I asked the tightly wrapped dressed lady MB rep there about it, she said "well its not been released yet." True but neither has the E coupe and you have one sitting over there. (I didn't say that part. I just thought it.) But then they even had the E coupe locked so you couldn't sit inside. So that was a long drive for nothing.
But a real question I have is about the interior on the new E63s. I've about got my wife talked into ordering one (because I've made her test drive so many other cars) and I have a question about the "nut brown" interior I'm seeing on the ordering quide. We really like the espresso brown on some cars but hate the saddle brown. Is this nut brown closer to which color? It looks closer to saddle brown and therefore I think we are out and will have to go with the tried and true all black boring interior.
Speaking of interiors, there was an MB car at the ATL show with the porcelain interior and it looked pretty bad. I know a million blue jean butts have got in and out of it, but can't they clean it to make it look presentable!

Hey - I am from Atlanta too. I had same experience as you at Detroit show. So if they didn't bring the E63 to Detroit then it doesn't surprise me they didn't bring it to ATL. The E Coupe was locked in Detroit too. Very annoying.
This is saddle brown (which I love). It reminds me of Hermes leather saddles.
The Nut Brown is a little darker and less tan. See below. Still nothing like Espresso.

Saddle brown is nice - same color as "Amaro Brown" in my current F80 M3. To the OP, I'm with you. . . The interior launch options stink!
I have resigned myself to waiting for a decent interior... I love the car (and would buy one tomorrow), but hate the interior choices. It's pretty sad that the cheapest variant of this car has the nicest interior choices.

It's really sad. Meanwhile you can build a G Wagon with like 400 different options.
