i don't have carbon brakes but if i bought them can i swap them strait over or would i have to buy more things e.g. lower control arms hubs
I'm very interested
I am not a big poster but I do follow postings. This company is selling these parts at almost twice what you can buy them for from various dealerships who post internet pricing. The ceramic rotors are $2500 each for front, the Calipers are about $900 each and the pads are $300. The grand total of the kit from your dealer who matches internet pricing (most do) is roughly $7500. It is even cheaper if you order this "kit" from Germany.
The rear rotors and calipers are the same regardless of C63, C63S ceramic brake system except for the color of the caliper, so the cost is in the front system.
I would not be so offended by this post but for this company is selling this "kit" for far more then full retail.

I believe you have to change various other parts. "Guilty" did a front conversion at the dealer and it was a lot of work and other parts besides the brakes.
May want to ask him what else was needed as apparently it messed with the ESP
The above stated price are all used parts and deal with either scrapped parts of pre owned(I'm not saying they ain't good) but please be fair to compare Apple to Apple.
the upgrade by MB as a option means you top up extra 5750 + your performance brakes .
Buying a set itself from MB varies from 13-18k as a standalone .

would you yourself like to buy a used ceramic which is cheaper by a few grand without knowledge of the history or if the ceramic rotors are dented / etc?
The comparison you made is as good as saying buying a used car price and hoping to get a new car instead.
Please be fair to us and stop making assumptions without checking your facts

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding that causes you to be unhappy.
That pricing was meant for AMG GT/GTS
The ceramic fronts are direct fit. No other parts needed. If you change from a different Mercedes car there maybe some modifications. Sometimes you have to change a brake booster, but boosters are the same in this instance. You may have to get the brakes coded by the dealer or they may have to adapt the sensors. Further, does he mention any other parts in his post. We are comparing apples to apples.
This guy does not know what he is talking about. The parts are BRAND NEW from the dealer that you can get for half the price. Why would I say anything about getting "used parts" for a MB dealership.
Now he is saying the price was for an AMG GT kit, but yet he posted that he sold a kit already. Now he changes the price. This guy is a scam artist and he should be barred from posting when he constantly changes his story.

I'm pretty sure you need a adapter for the front ceramic and if you were to opt to mod your rear for the 2 pot ceramic callipers , you need those with 'auto' programming.
Initial price quoted was for both front and rear.
When you get brand new from the dealers,it's basically a upgrade option whereas performance brakes + top up for ceramics.
Hope this explains to those who has the tendency to flame without even owning ceramic brakes before.
I am glad that you had a good experience with him. I wonder if you bought that kit that he said he sold for $13,500, if you still would feel like you had a "good experience." Has he fully clarified what he is offering since my first post. If you offer misinformation to sell a product and after each post he is forced to make a correction because it does not comport with fact, what would you call that?
I wish him luck selling the "kits" for the reduced price of, $9,500. He still has not explained how what he is offering is any different then parts you can buy from your local dealer for about $7500. Further, his last post only adds more confusion because presumably his offering requires an adapter no different than getting the parts from the dealer, if you accept what he is saying at face value.
If he provides the part numbers for what he is offering anyone can go online and lookup the prices to see the point I am trying to make. Maybe he will do this so people can compare apples to apples. After all, if it is a competitive price he should have no issue doing this.
I am not a dealer or a competitor, so all I care about is to prevent someone from significantly overpaying.
For the record, I have had cars before with Ceramic Brakes. On my M4 I installed a kit after the car was purchased. I have worked with a large NASCAR syndicate for many years, and I am very familiar with various braking systems, so don't presume to know what my experience is.

Mate,
no doubt you race for Nascar etc,i had my Ferrari Challenge days myself as well and had my fair share of ceramics since the Ferrari 430 optional ceramics are available as a option.
M4 ceramics?Had it too.
What i'm selling here is as simple as a set of ceramic rotors (400mm) with adapter/brackets which works differently from //M cars that comes fixed with it.
6 pot front carbon ceramic callipers with carbon pads/hydraulic pipes/wares.
A normal steel rotor will run you 3000-4000 a set oem unless you're buying those cheap alternatives.
The pricing is inclusive of 6 pot Carbon Ceramic callipers (in gold) /adapter/hardware/wirings etc to be mounted to the steering wheel.
Please check your facts before you flame.
Here's some picture sample for a set bolt for reference (Different set but same setup)

This is a quote I got from MB dealers for the states
So please do not defame us in anyway as all we as a company as well as Amg owners are trying to do is to help owners upgrade and make the best out of their vehicle as well as offering customised products.
As quoted by Amg parts department
These are for the front only $3540 for each rotor. 2600 for a set of front calipers.
Those prices are excluding the hose/adapter
