Are you using the HP tuners for tuning? I'm going to hit a local LS shop who uses it exclusively and see if they will tune my car if I continue to mod beyond bolt on tunes.
nah mate my car has a EVOTECH tune i have 2 ECUs that i change around for the track
Lovely sir... just lovely! Should be a healthy happy pressure chamber.........
I had a clk55 with p/p heads, cams, headers........... after all that and a s/c making 9lbs... it ran mid 12's...was not impressed. .... there is alot of ART in p/p heads and the final combo.
Good luck man, you should crack the 500 WHP. Local members here in Toronto are getting pretty damn close on the EC dyno with PNP heads.
But after looking at the graphs the cars seem to be losing out some low end grunt in favor for a higher top end. Not a bad thing but something to take into consideration for driving characteristics.
Kriston..... it's all in the details of the Porting..... how much removed where...... if you don't know what you are doing you'll kill both top and bottom end.
Agreed whole heartedly, however there only a few tuners (weistec / dime racing). Who truly have experience with PNP heads on the M156. Rest of the tuners are shooting in the dark.

yeah I've heard about this possibility and hope it isn't the case.

the person that did the work had been doing it for 12 years in his garage. He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. I trust him.

When you say tuner you peaking of the actual tune? My tune is fully custom road driven and the tuner said there will be no neeed for a retune.
Worst case scenario if I do trade off some torque for horsepower I'll just get a blower to bring the torque back up.
It'll be a small amount if that even happens and tbh, it's not like the M156 is lacking in the torque department down low, esp with your current set up anyway. You'll be fine. I hope you find what you're looking for from the PnP job.
