Drove a fixed pulley with 3.06 gear swap.
Drove George's car with the fixed pulley and the newly swapped 3.06 gears Tony/RaceIq did the tcu and the car felt and shifted awsome. Told him a long time ago the 3.06 gear is a nice mod to do.

An E63 is not a limited slip UNLESS it happens to be a P30, but the gearing is different. You can swap over a W211 E63 rear end (I threw a Quaife in mine before the swap) into a W211 E63. You just have to remember to tune the ECU to the new gearing lest you be stuck in limp mode.

Better yet do meth and a Killer Chiller. Add a trunk tank. Sell HE. No more temp issues. That is the way I will be going, just started with Meth first!

Sorry for the long post ahead of time but I have questions.
I am so out of the loop these days for E55 performance but have had mine for like 6 years now. My car has been back to stock boost for a while after I had a crank pulley come off then switched to smaller clutched blower pulley and that exploded and tore stuff up. How do these solid pulleys drive? I remember they were starting to come out a while back (a few years) but there were drivability issues people were having. At the time I though Eurocharged was the only people tuning on them (or trying to anyway) and it didn't seem to work right. I even participated in a south Florida dyno day where a guy had one and they ended up giving up when it just didn't want to cooperate and this was AFTER there were posts on here introducing the pulley and dyno numbers etc which didn't make sense to me that the stuff didn't work right and were being sold and "tuned."
Is the tuning corrected now or do people just deal with the "problem?" I don't even remember what the problem was exactly, car just was crappy to drive. If fuel mileage similar still, drivability? I have a MUCH faster car to play with so this is my daily but I would like to bump up the power a little again.
What does the 77mm pulley correlate to in a crank pulley size or boost? I had a 180 at one point but hated the heat problems since it is hot most of the year in Florida, it would pull hard to 100 then fall on its face unless it was colder out which like I said is very little time of the year, I later had the first smaller blower pulley that I have no clue what size it was but ran I think 11psi if I remember correctly, down from 13 or 13.5 that the 180 ran. Is there a bigger size than 77? Mine made 500 on the 180 and 477 on the blower pulley, I'm like 420s now on a rich tune since I never changed it after going back to stock boost. Would be nice to get it going right again, just on the fence if I would want to pop a pulley back on or just get a new tune.
Car has Kleeman headers with no cats, x pipe and magnaflow mufflers, 80mm throttle body, K&N panel filters, bigger heat exchanger, under hood tank as for engine type mods.

To answer one of your questions, there is also an 84mm (which I'm sitting on and would sell). Tony seems to have that tune down as well according to all reports. Only reason I didn't throw mine on is a I got a smoking deal on a clutched 77mm that i couldn't say no to.

I will keep that in mind but I'm kind of intrigued on the gear swap. Get a new tune for my mods on stock boost and do a gear swap to improve performance getting tq that way while keeping IATs down. That was something else that was just starting to be messed with using SRT Charger gears, assuming that is the same now? Again at the time Eurocharged had messed with the tcu for gears but I don't think it was shifting right and BIP messed with it on one car that I knew of at the time and it was working well from what was talked about but I kind of fell out of modding the European since I was head deep in making my V an animal which had way more potential.

There are 72mm, 74mm, 77mm, 80mm, 83/84mm for SC. (stock is 90mm)
There are 168mm, 172mm, 180mm, 185mm, and 190mm CP (stock is 154mm)
....that I can think of.

You'll certainly get different opinionson this but a safe concensus would be a clutched pulley with a LM21 scattershield around it.
Avoids heat issues of fixed SC pulley & avoid crank bolt / keyway shearing of CP.

You probably had an 83mm pulley previously, that has been replaced by the 76/77 as the standard which will put you closer to 14psi. Gas mileage stays the same with the clutched pulley and driveability is great. gas mileage will be more effected by the fixed pulley. Shoot us a PM if you have any questions
