There was no dealer who had ACS+off-road in inventory, so we threw in a few options and customized it. Still kicking myself for missing rear heated-seats at the last minute in a hurry to order

2017 GLS 550 & 2016 SLK300

Not going to be fun cleaning that one. For the experienced folks, how scratch resistant is the front star plastics (specifically this version with distronic)? Coming from 2004 Honda Pilot, this GLS550 is amazing (arrived at dealer Fri and we picked-up Sat afternoon.

I saw somewhere else, how to protect the front bar with some stuff (stream or spray) for off bugs, but I forgot the way/name.

thank you and yes I took it off to be color matched. It's on now but I'm having thoughts of removing and filling in the holes. It looks very clean rebadged

Thanks guys! Loving how it turned out- there was a lot of chrome on this one and it was driving me bananas. We even painted the steps and roof tails to match everything.

If you don't mind, what did you use on the tail lights? I used Lamin-x on mine and I cannot get rid of the "orange peel" look.

I had a body shop do them for me. They actually mix black paint in with clear coat to tint the lights. I went with their "medium" tint option

2024 GLS450, Previously 2020 GLS450, 2017 GLS450, 2014 GL450, 2012 GL450

Just Joined the GLS group!

After having two GL450's previous, just picked up my third Mercedes. Ordered it beginning of March and dealer found the first slot available, so was able to pick it up beginning of May.

The build is similar to my last GL450 except I got the ADS plus with this one (I couldn't justify the ACS price, even though I wanted it badly :/)

After two white GLs, this brown one does get dirty fairly quick...

AH_GL450 - love the inside color combination. Don't see many that color, most are tan or black. Nice. that color combo , exterior and interior gives the car a Classic Mercedes look.
