New wheel and tire fitment
#27
Congratulations! Looks better if you ask me, and it probably makes you feel better now too. Don't go off roadin', now... hahaha! You have it on stock height, am I correct? What tire sizes did you finally go with? The fender gaps are pretty descent front and rear.
#28
I went 245/40/19 and 275/35/19, so I increased diameter, thus why the fender gap has decreased. Part of the entire plan. more comfort and better look.
I do have the urge to lower it though - will have to be something adjustable as this set-up will be prone to rubbing.
I would recommend the same set-up to someone lowering with a 235/40 and 265/35 with 20mm spacers up front and 15mm out back.

Congrats! Yeah, for me too, after I suffered two cracks on my driver side front I am ready to move on from my stock wheels even though I had the cracked wheel welded and balanced. I just can't wait to get out of my runflats and move onto some 19s and MPSSs and keep the stock 18s for winter set up.
@alexas what spacers did you use for the front and back? Im looking to run 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 in the back if possible. Not sure if our C450s can fit 10.5 in the rear, if so I would

Additionally, I bent and had to repair the 2 driver side rims with only 500 miles on my car, really annoyed me but in all fairness my fault (large unavoidable pothole at highway speeds while travelling through Pennsylvania on I-81. PA has the worse roads in the country IMO)
I'm in a 36 month lease but will trade out at 30 months (or whenever Mercedes kicks some deal in to upgrade)
How worried should I be about having to replace the tires at that point if I were not to do so now and put the run-flats back on for turn-in?
I really think I'm going to upgrade the tires anyway because I want to, but if I know I'll have to for trade in, the decision is much easier as I'll enjoy the tires I want now and slap the crappy run-flats on later

TSW Interlagos
19x8 et30 (et45 w/ 15mm spacer) w/ 245/40/19
19x9.5 et48 (et53 w/ 5 mm spacer) w/ 275/35/19
I think I'd recommend doing (with these same widths and offsets):
235/40/19 with a 20mm spacer
265/35/19 with a 15mm spacer
for others
My set-up is pushing front inner clearance and outer poke with this chunky of a tire. Like - the wrong tire and PSI would probably rub (some tires run wider than others).

I'm just under 4,000 miles now and hate the run-flats (19" P-Zeros) that came on my car

The tires can't be bald or they will probably have you replace them (if it's something they put in the time to inspect - sometimes if you're in good with the SA, etc. it can be overlooked.)
your question is a bit confusing. But I am on a 36 month and plan to run the tires on the new wheels until they are shot. Put the OEM wheels and tires back on to turn the car in.
At that time I will sell the wheels (assuming they will not fit on the new car). Ending up breaking just about even, if you consider the ~$1500 runflat replacement cost that would be incurred regardless. This is all being very fair as the p zero lasts for about 15-20k miles and I have a 45k mile turn in. I, however, got lucky and have had all 4 tires replaced periodically during my first 10-15k miles with the car.

My turn in is 30,000 miles
If the run-flats (which I do not like) will be shot by then and will need to be replaced anyway, it only makes sense to replace them now with the Michelin Pilots you recommended in another thread NOW.
This way, I'll enjoy driving my vehicle with my preferred tire at the same cost of possibly replacing the run-flats in a few years regardless
I have ~4,000 miles on the run-flats already, so now is a good time for me to make the swap
I truly appreciate your input !

Thanks Alex, you cleared up what I am working through in regard to the replacement tires

I see what you're asking now.
Yes, the p-zeros have been reported to last anywhere from 12-20k miles on this car, depending on how you drive.
So, almost everyone will have to replace tires on a lease, unless the terms are very odd.

I just picked up a used set of Interlagos with those same specs to use as a winter setup. I figured they'd fit (with a spacer on the front), but good to have someone confirm! I like the looks of these quite a bit, they look like the Forgestar CF10's I ran on my W204 C63.

Did the above (PS4S) a few weeks ago, best decision. So much better.
These garbage run flats will stay bagged until lease return, lol.

I actually like the polished; my car's Cardinal Red too, and I think the polished wheels really set off the red. I actually will have the set I bought refinished. For the $500 I paid, they look OK, but since I don't need them until December I might as well. I think I'll keep them polished/silver.

Need some advice!
Hello All!
I'm new here - purchased a C43 AMG coupe a few weeks ago and just in the process of perfecting it for myself!
So, I'm looking for some nice rims + solid winter tires, hoping to get a good deal entering summer. I'd prefer at least 18s - but 19s would be nice as well - doesn't need to be anything too pricey because they'll just be for the winter months obviously.
As for the tires, I've heard that Michelin X-ice Xi3 or Bridgestone blizzaks WS80 are both solid choices. Thoughts? I live in Canada, so need some really good winter tires. Costco sells them for about $840 CAD for a set. Is that a decent price?
Thanks for all the help!
