I am now considering getting the 20" which come with All Seasons and see how they do in the snow first. If they're no good, I can then get separate 19" winters. I can keep all seasons or switch to summers for the 20".
I drive 100 miles a day so tread wear is also something I have to take into account.
Decisions, decisions.
Hi All. Noob on the forum and just ordered a GLC300 for June delivery.
Thanks for this Frosty. Are these the recommended MB-approved sizes? Does anyone know if I can put on the GLC43 21' staggered on my GLC300? Will it void any warranties?
Also, does anyone have a picture of the staggered on their GLC? Much appreciated!!

So, tire size(s) for the 21" wheels are:
Front 255/40 R21
Rear 285/35 R21
As far as I know, non-staggered 19's are recommended for snows.
I would suggest it depends. I'm not sure whether the gearbox has been adapted for the staggered setup as on a 4x4 the circumference should be the same. Best to speak to your dealer about that. Another consideration is the the offset. There is quite a difference especially for the rear, and then there is the legalities of tyres that may stick outside the fenders....A picture from last weekend attached of my car that is on 21" staggered.
I think you should go for 22" on summer, and 20" on winter. It is so much space for wheels in the GLC, its almost stupid. I have 295/30R22 on summer and 255/45R20 on winter. The roads here in Norway are awful, but still with the 22" an airmatic its still very good.
Just visited the dealer and saw the GLC43 up close for the first time. Pictures do not do that thing justice! It's also smaller than it looks in pictures, but in a good way imo.
I think if you go with the 20" wheels you won't be disappointed because I saw them in person and they really pop with that concave design, especially against that dark blue color. When I first saw the pictures I thought the 21" wheels looked better and the 20s weren't really very good looking, but it's night and day from pictures to in-person. They'd now be my first pick when buying one for myself.

Does anyone have pictures of this wheel on a w205? Would they even fit? I was looking into using these as summer wheels on my 2015 c400
looking at the availability of tires for the 20" vs 21", it seems like the 20" has more choices - including all season or summers. With the 21", you can only get summers - don't see any other option.
This is a widely held assumption about larger wheels but the market has expanded.
I just went on tire rack and they have the following all season and winter tires for the 21” staggered setup sizes:
1) Michelin Primacy Tour A/S (all season)
2) Continental Crosscontact LX Sport (All season)
3) Pirelli Scorpion Winter
4) Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season
That said I would probably get summer tires since I live in Atlanta.
If anyone here has 21” wheels and wants to swap for 20” wheels let me know. I ended up buying the car with 20” wheels simply because the dealer gave me an exceptional price on it.
