Hi guys. I am interested in picking this car up but I cannot seem to recognize what type of lights those are. They are not xenon but I would like to know what they are and are they good enough?
PS. Are they maybe the ones that light up slowly with a blue color at first?

From here it looks like halogen, and from what I know Mercedes are not know for good halogen lights. And no it doesn't have the led strip that start off with blue.

Only the LED and the Active LED lights have the blue light coming home feature however that feature is dependent on the country. In the US we don't have that feature.
The car in your picture does not have the LED strip and therefore would not have that function.

Yes it's good enough and on rain you see the road more with halogen than those expensive led lights. But the Led lights looks much better.

Wouldn't allow the headlight type to effect my buying decision. There are many reasonably priced aftermarket conversions out there if you find the Halogen performance less than acceptable.

Have had Mercedes with Halogens as well as LEDs. Halogens are abysmal. It is easier to get car with upgraded lights than to mess with aftermarket kits that do not always work well or blind on coming traffic due to reflectors not designed for LED or HID.

I could see you a few months from now coming back to this board asking how to retrofit LED lights.

I upgraded a Corvette from halogen to HID and a jeep from halogen to LED and both were easy upgrades and made a world of difference.
In either case I never experienced any grief from oncoming traffic and the beam patterns were well defined.

Oh, I have no doubt that there shouldn't be any grief if we're talking about swapping the bulbs with LED or HID bulbs. But I think the other guy was referring to retrofitting LED lights for halogen car, and somehow I have a feeling that you're not aware of the difference between the two. I've talked to so many guys who's willing to trade in his car just so he could get the LED lights.
Junge Sterne = "Young Star" is the Germanic "equivalent" of CPO here in the US - when I say "equivalent" US CPO is much stronger/longer than the comparable Euro program.
Yes - those headlights are European/DE halogen - and frankly "aftermarket" changes in headlight bulb/systems is a lot more challenging for DE due to their safety/compliance laws - and the Euro headlight/reflector/configuration/city-light-etc differ as well.
Halogen is nearly impossible to get in this part of the world. Since people are adviced not to buy them because of very lower second hand value. And yes as everything else available as stand alone options
