Is there a way to turn on the door handle approach lights. I park outside at the curb and it would help greatly if I was able to activate or turn on the door handle lights to help illuminate the curb at night.

you mean permanently (because they should already do that when using the car)?
i have no knowledge of that as a feature nor would I want to flatten my cars battery.
The W205's door handle LEDs are not bright enough to illuminate the ground around the vehicle. What you would need to see the ground around the vehicle before entry are puddle lights which are lamps located under the outside mirrors that come on when unlocking the vehicle. Do you have your "Locator Lighting" activated? It's under "Vehicle Settings", and you can also adjust how long it stays on as well...
