I looked at both and they are the same bumpers, however they both differ in other features. I red a few forums around and figured:
"Elegance is really soft and it's designed for comfort.
Avantgarde is abit more sporty and harder rid."
"bi-xenons are standard on AvantG"
other differences i believe are the wheels and some of the interior stuff...whereas the bumper stands, they are the same exact bumpers besides one difference i saw was the fog lights.
i say if you want to replace the front bumper, either go with e55/63 or facelifted sport packaged bumper(will require a new grill as well).
hope i helped, a little lol

Ur right
Just the fogs wow not much of a difference. the e55 and e63 im 100% sure there isn't even 1 of these cars in my country so finding the bumper is outta the option. And importing 1 would cost me double the actual ammount.

Contact Gary@Suvneer on here and see how much it would cost you. He sells an E63 front conversion which looks better than either of those.

Yes, best bet is get a E63 bumper or sport package bumper...these two bumpers are very similar to each other as well. The grills are bigger and lower to ground. And regular face lifted bumper is the one in that pic above.
as for international shipping...that i have no idea lol maybe go by what ^^^^ said. But those aftermarket bumpers will run u around 400-600$ just for parts. And the bumper does not come with the chrome grill, not sure if it comes with mesh grill and fog lights.
good luck

Normal facelift 1s
It's really easy for me to get a regular facelift bumper grill fogs and the rest cause there r half cut scrap cars in my city that are ready to be torn apart lol
i first choose to sell my O3 and get a 07 but the issue is there isn't any used facelift car in good condition and with features that my current 1 has
my O3 has just 100k kilometers on the dash
and features keyless go panoramic roof and possibly the best interior colour combination besides i't has never been scratched not even a tiny bit. For an 03 it has the condition of an 09

for e63 it would cost him a little more cuz of the grill he would have to buy. I suggest, go for E55 bumper. That's what i would go for. but it's the person's call...
one forum member asked me if im still into buying e55 bumper but i turned the offer down cuz i have other plans for w211

But if you go vise versa of those years, then yes u need to swap out the grill.
cuz e55 uses same grill as 03-06 and e63 uses same as 07-09 years.
Some places will sell u just the bumper but some will sell you the complete set.

Thought to revive this thread than opening a new one as my question is somewhat related to this. Planning to give a facelift look to my '06 220 CDI. As I read and figured out following would be the list of parts (external)
- 02 mirrors
- Both front & rear bumpers
- front fogs
- Grill (pointy)
Questions I have are
- can I reuse the same headlamps if I don't mind not having those chrome lines on the signal indicators
- Do I need to change the hood / bonnet. Are they different in pre facelift an facelift ?
Thank you

Hi Zain, Roop94 is right there is only a few differences, i am doing it right now the face lift on my e class and i will be posting the video on my chanel, but one detail you need to check is the parking sensors,if in your old bumper the connection is the same,if yes is a straight plug in,if not you need to swap all the wires and the sensor holders from your bumper to the new one.
hope this will help you in any way.

Hi hsenadhira, yes you can use the same headlights and i believe the bonnet is the same, i am doing one right now to my E class and i am not changing the bonnet, the only thing you will need to change is the release bonnet catch, for the new grill is longer

Thank you for the update. My workshop informed that entire thing including lights, bonnet should replace. As for bonnet release catch, I did some ebay search. there's only one part in most of listings saying 2002-2009. Also my car is 2006 pre facelift and realised it got the same long release handle. May be I should give it a shot with only bumper, grill and fogs

No, you DON'T need a new hood for this for the new hood release latch. When I did the conversion, I bought the new latch, but never put it on. I still have the latch sitting somewhere in my garage. The latch that comes with Pre-Facelift will work with the Facelift grill/bumper combo as well. The only thing is that you just need to reach in through the grill and grab and pull. It's doable, not hard at all. The latch will be probably an inch far in thru the grill. After doing it once or twice, you'll get used to it and not have to spend $ for a new hood or any other expensive parts.
Mine was 06 and I did the 63 AMG bumper conversion. Everything came in one package, so I didn't have to shop around. Compare the pricing if you want a regular Facelift look or the 63 AMG look. Both Facelift, regular and AMG models, use the same grill, but the looks of the bumper vary. For you, you'd need a Facelift grill and the bumper. No need to replace the hood or anything else. You can also use the Pre Facelift hood latch. I did. No issues at all, as long as you don't have thick fingers that can't reach through the grill lol :P
If you have parking sensors, I wouldn't know how to go about @Eddy001 seems to have more information on that.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help.

well, first my estate is a 270 diesel, i don't to look like a AMG, second here in UK E63 kit is not usual on the second hand market, this bumper all complete cost me £90 then i paint it my self, was a good price, now i will change the rear bumper to accommodate quadruple exhaust tips, just for looks, i am customising my car to my taste :-)
