Trump wants to impose a 35% tax on german cars
i wonder if it will affect the C class, since they are being assembled in alabama these days if i'm not mistaken.
anyways, thought to share this, as it might affect potential benz buyers.
As for that 35% tariff...he specially mentioned BMW's new plant in Mexico slated to open in 2018 to produce the next generation 3 Series.

Trump has accomplished quite a lot, but you'll never hear it from the destroy Trump media sources to which you listen.

Speaking of fake news...you posted a link from Fox News! How about that wall Mexico was supposed to pay for! Thanks for proving my point about all the executive orders Trump has signed, you know...executive orders the Repukelicans complained about President Obama signing when he was president. Pot, kettle...
All that Russian loving idiot knows what to do is push people around...

But when it comes to politics and football, all rules are thrown out the window, lol

This makes a great headline for #nevertrump, but the **** talking he did about German car companies doesn't mean anything immediately. Taxing imported cars mean more incentive for the parent company to manufacture in the US. If prices increase for one car company, manufacturers in the US will also be able to get a higher price point for cars not taxed at the higher rate. Since the market is adjusting to the higher price point, cars will be better and more advanced, particularly US cars.
Most importantly, tariff on new imported cars will drive up the price of classic imported cars. This means a classic car market that continues to rise for the foreseeable future.
Fear not my communist friends, capitalism will make driving better.
Since we're adults having adult conversations about the cost of our next cars...

I guess certain people in government today know very little about American history, and what actually started the great depression of the 1930's. Hell, our fearless leader didn't even know President Andrew Jackson died before the Civil War even started!
He can be safely ignored. There will never be a tariff on German cars or anything else under this administration.
