New to MB and new to Command, seems a very complex system.
Was reading the electronic manual (from mbusa.com) it says you can set favorites where if you push and hold down one of the buttons on the # pad you can set it to (for example) navigate home, change to a song on a cd or hd etc.
It says to go to settings menu and then click add/edit favorites. I don't see a add/edit favorites in my settings menu.
Is this an extra cost add on/feature? (car has P1 package).
I'm not talking about radio/sat station pre-sets. I'm talking about favorite actions. The manual says you can set favorite actions so when you press a single button it can take you to what you programmed. an example it gave is to navigate home. you can set that action as one of the buttons so when you press that button, it'll automatically start navigation to your home address.
I can't find how to do that. On a slightly side note, how does one use voice commands to navigate to your home address or "My address" in the navigation addressbook? It seems I have to create a second entry with my name, then tell it to navigate to my name. Just saying Navigate to my address doesn't do anything eventhough the "my address" entry in the address book has my home address in it.
the documentation is very poorly written for this car.
if you haven't figured it out already; or for new people.
Settings> Assign Favorite> choose the one from the following. I have 360Camera, which I believe important for parking even not in tight spots.
I don't want to create a new thread for "What did you set your fav. button for"; so, please answer here;
I have the 360 cameras for easy parking, instead of fiddling with options to get to the camera.

I totally agree with you---MB had some very poor writers/editors for their manuals (even the 'blank space' on the pages is too abundant); the BMW manuals are written much better and much more intuitively. I know in the W211, there was a soft button on COMAND that said "Home"...if you clicked that, it navigated to your home address. I think/guess they have removed that feature.

Thanks Raja, very useful information. I think this is what the OP was getting at.
OP, have you tried creating an address book entry labeled "Home", then saying voice command "navigate to Home"?

I did created the label, to my leasing office(not my actual apartment number); but heven't tried any of those voice commands. SiRi is racist enough, (to understand my Asian accent), she has hard time understanding me and it took me 3 years to teach her few basic things; I don't think I'll start with MB Command soon.
Will definitely give a try with the voice commands.
I was mad that my Samsung phone made in Korea couldn't understand my Engrish... it only slips every once in awhile but those are the times I try voice commands, apparently. So I never use it. COMAND isn't much different lol
