Post up positive experiences you've had with your C63 with car ownership, dealer, vendors, etc...... this is a share of the good part of ownership..... (And a test of how many posts we can go before this goes SOUTH )
Positives:
1. 1st test drive, drifting sideways in a dealer demo with salesman driving.... slalom around light poles in a church parking lot.... wife sliding too and fro in the backseats with big smile....... return from test drive..... and we are like.... "we'll take one".... just "not this one"
2. 1st cold start..... no exp needed
3. 1st encounter with m product on highway...... they never learn
4. after park.... the look back and appreciate glance......
5. 1st trip to COTA... turn 1 in the 507....
6. The Brakes! Oh the brakes are soo good.
7. Watching Dodger break N/A 1/4 records in his! A pioneer.
8. Dodger widebody build with tons of pics.....
9. Watching the wiestec empire build and the crazy 10 and 9 sec C63 that soon followed!
10. Watching Mag get in the game..... and Kleemann......
11. Buying 1st set of rear tires after 2200 miles in wifes 09 C63........ WTF.... that was fun.
12. 1st houston meet up with other AMG's..... and a few C63's back in 2010.....
I challenge you all to a positive thread.... Can it be done.... or are really just a miserable lot?
5. being able to get in and out of traffic on a whim.
6. Having people gawk at you and take pictures on the hwy.
7. Tunnels.. did I mention tunnels.. OMG !!!!
8. The many many complements including the porter at the Mercedes Dealership who asked to take pictures of the car.
9. The handling.. oh yes this is amazing. I love taking a sharp turn and hammer down immediately after it feels like being propelled out of a sling shot.

While waiting for a light to change, having a tuned honda rev, then a Maserati rev'd, then I rev'd...then hearing someone yell out "GET EM". Had me laughing till I cried.
Driving down a narrow road with walls or buildings on both sides is almost as exhilarating as a tunnel. The sound!
Downshifting next to a tall vehicle, not paying attention and scarring the sh*t out of yourself from the reverb. I've jumped too many times to admit then had a good laugh like a crazy person lol.
The amount of people you get to talk to that don't really know what the car is or how much power it really has.
The double take I get when I tell them its my daily driver.
Staring over at fake badged AMG drivers and having them never look over cause they know what they've done.
Driving and having to listen to dbag mustang owners with loud exhausts redlining their gears (but completely stock), then you downshift by their windows...shuts them up real quick.
Thumbs up from other car/bike lovers while driving. Also other modified cars that enjoy playing a bit (clear traffic, just getting on it a bit).
Back end of the cars at a show are real close to windows/buildings. Having a yellow Porsche GT3 RS rev next to you, then you rev and let out this demonic gurgle...both guys inside never looked over and promptly left lol.
Conversations with others while waiting for the light to change. Always makes my day and is interesting to see just who appreciates cars.
Having teens make faces at you while they cross the street, then you rev just to hear them scream/jump/then run the rest of the way.
Revving next to someone at a show and having them look all around not knowing what the hell is making that noise. Sleeper status.
Having a coworker ride in the car with me for the first time, I downshift, he sticks his head out the window and starts looking around then says "I think you just hit/killed some kind of animal" and sincerely meant it. Had to explain the noises my car makes to him lol.
First time turning traction control all the way off and doing doughnuts...I was not ready for that whip around.
Since it's pretty rare around here (Kansas), running into another C63 and giving the courtesy/acknowledged head nod and wave across lanes of traffic.
* Fulfilling a dream of owning this car that I had since I first head the exhaust noise on Top Gear I think, years ago;
* The chill that ran down my spine the first time the salesman started it up in the underground garage of the dealership;
* The stupid smirk that wouldn't leave my face the entire 3 hour drive home, in February, in Canada;
* Shaking the house on cold start;
cool stuff.... agree the 1st cold start in the MB dealership... is very awesome.... the whole dealership stops what they are doing and looks...... can hear it back in sales offices
I have a lot of these and especially the list Ins1gnia has, for sure.
-First of all, a mundane one. The seats. I live right in the city and spend as much time sitting in traffic as I do actually driving and the seats are a life saver.
-For me, the greatest thrill goes back to the early days, while this model was still in production. Watching reviews come out and seeing the love that guys like Chris Harris had for the car, knowing that I had one of the best cars EVER, right outside was indescribable. One of my best friends had one also, and we would send each other links to some new video or article, and it just felt really, really special and I felt/feel very fortunate to own such a car.
-I recall seeing a list of cars that professional race drivers owned personally and #1 on that list at the time was a C63. My nephew has Asperger's and is a HUGE racing fan, and to be able to rattle off names like Schumi, Hamilton, Button and even ol' Smoke, Tony Stewart as co-owners was a lot of fun.
-Going to the AMG Driving Academy this past fall.
-Going to the track and being able to hang with, and get respect from, some pretty solid 'competition'.
-And finally the thrill my kids have always taken in rolling up to school in sport mode with a big downshift, or taking them out to do burnouts and then using the rubber marks to teach them about camber has been a lot of fun. My kids have a real love for cars now, and my son even has an AMG emblem in his headboard.
There is this guy with a Volt that I see regularly on my daily commute, he has a bumper sticker that says "I burn electrons". I hate that car with an unbridled passion, and love to downshift next to him and blow his doors off.
When my former car proved to be too low in back seat head clearance for my 5'11.5" son, my wife said she would not object to any replacement 4-passenger, 475+ hp car as long as it had an automatic transmission and cost under $45k Canadian.
Imagine my delight when I found my 2012 C63 with P31 package, where I could be well under the $45k limit and the over 6 foot salesman fit nicely in the back seat!
She agreed I abided by the conditions she proposed, so she can't gripe about the outcome!
And the best part is that she is afraid to drive it, so I get to drive every time!
Sweet.

1. Doing burnouts, and people not understanding why a small C-class sounds like Satan's war cry.
2. Waiting to pick up the car from service having just rolled outta bed, and hearing other people there at service talking **** (I'm young). Needless to say they put their heads down when their base cla got pulled up right next to my car. I just smiled.
3. Always having that stupid smile on my face when I walk up to the car, and the fact that it still looks great in the 205 era
4. Going sideways in an empty parking lot for a good bit with my now ex GF, and having her love every second of it. Eventually date night after dinner turned into shredding tires.
5. Buying new tires after 5k miles, and the tire guy as I was leaving saying "I'll see you in 3 months". At least he was being honest.
The sound the car makes always put a smile on my face. Tunnels and underground parking lots are such a treat.
It goes from zero to sideways in the blink of an eye.
It is an everyday sports car. You can drive it as easily as any city run about, but when the road clears, it's evil side comes out, and it's just pure fun.
I can relate to this. I also tell her noise off the pipes does not mean I am going too fast!
Mine has figured out that if she leans over just a bit, she can see the digital speedo, so that excuse doesn't work for me anymore.
I'm trying to tell her that the speedo is wildly optimistic "for liability reasons" but she's not buying it!
I've figurred out though that if I can keep her looking elsewhere, the car is quiet enough even at higher speeds that the wind noise alone won't alert her to my speed!
This was the best moment with my car.waiting untill midnight in a parking lot while it was delivered from Miami to Boston and hearing it for the first time.
I bought the car sight unseen but was basically brand new 63k lol
I'm only about six months into my ownership of my Black Series. I purchased it sight unseen nor have I had seen one in person before.
Positives
1) The biggest thing for me was when it was first started up inside the enclosed transport truck when it first arrived. My goodness, the sound was simply exquisite.
2) I've gotten more compliments on it vs any of my previous cars. I was out getting drinks with some friends in the busy part of town. While I was at the street light waiting for the crosswalk to clear, a guy stopped in front of my car and starred the front end down. He then proceeded to give me a thumbs up lol. The other time that stood out to me was when an older lady asked me if that was my car when I was at the local dealer. I said yes, and she said "damn, that's a good looking car!". Lol, I honestly thought the car was low key myself without the aerodynamics package, but I guess not.
3) Pulled into the parking lot on a Saturday morning to pick up a friend from the Dallas Cars & Coffee. I drove away from the show when I pulled in to avoid attention, but a group of photographers saw and started running over. My buddy texted me and was said there was a crowd rushing towards me. I told him he better beat them to the car before we get blocked in! Made some small talk with a couple of them and they mentioned they had never seen one in the area before, etc. Boy, it was a funny sight seeing that crowd rush over.
I'm sure there will be other times in the future, but these are the first that come to mind. Anyways, enjoying this much more than the Gran Turismo MC.
1. My oldest peering around the seat saying "Dad, you're speeding." And then the youngest replying "Yes, and go faster!"
2. Having the little gas pump light up after just 160 miles. And what a fun 160 miles they were!
3. I back into the same spot in our underground garage at work every day. My commute home has a tendency to not be awesome, being Boston and all, but that cold start after the full work day totally resets my brain.
4. All four windows down agressive downshifts in M as I'm approaching a light. No really, I'm a grown up. Seriously.
5. Snow + snow tires + this car with an LSD quite literally makes me giggle. It is an exercise in restraint, but totally worth it and great for car control practice (or so I tell myself).
6. The lookback I do pretty much ever time I park it (usually in the farthest spot available). I've had a few fun cars in my day, but none have had me looking back for years.
7. The driving position is just right. The seats are ludicrous, the wheel can get nice and high and close, the Alcantara on the sides of the wheel, the paddles and the pedals. So good.
