do you have any side shot of the car to see how much it lowered? from the angle the rear looks like there is no wheel gap at all but the front seems like there is still a gap.

nice ride

Thanks guys will get up some more pics from different angles soon. As far as the ride goes, I upgraded to the 19" wheels from the luxury 17", so that was a big difference, but the springs did not change it much.

Liking the ride for sure!

I am considering upgrading to 19"...have you noticed a deficiency in ride quality?

Going from 17" to 19" yes, some, especially around potholes, but 18" to 19" should be considerably less detectable I would think. I chalked it up as the "cost to floss" hahaa, looks world's better though.

Just happy I cancelled my order for 20" wheels, that would have been too much for me anyway.

your ride looks really nice I might add. I am also considering going from stock 17" to 19". But am just a little confused with all the talk about spacing, springs, tire width size, staggered or not staggered. I can't seem to find an actual post of someone's 2014 E300 4MATIC with the wheel upgrade. I keep seeing E350 posts.
What are the advantages of changing the springs (lowering) and is it necessary undertaking when I go from 17s to 19s?

All I know is I want 19" wheels same size all around and a tire that will work all seasons. I like the 'aggressive' look but not too aggressive. I am in Toronto, Canada so will probably need winter shoes as well but for now, am focusing on all seasons.

note: Hoping to get wheel and tire recommendations from those of you that have done it or are well versed in this subject matter. Pictures or links as illustrations would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing this. I have the same spec wheels waiting to be installed. Any tips on what size spacers to use front and rear for non-lowered flushness?

Summer set is on

285/30

Fitment works
Bought a set of OEM staggered 19" E63 AMG wheels from a member here and just mounted them up for the summer. No, I'm not lowering so don't ask. Lol I'm going to swap back to my square AMG wheel setup for winter. 245/35 & 285/30

Nice! Can't wait to see them.

If I wanted to, I can add 2mm spacers in the back for flushness but these are no spacers and pretty happy with the fitment. No rub!

Meanwhile, just doing some paint correction today.

Even though I was on the 18" AMG's the staggered 19's have transformed the car. Turn-in feels quicker, better grip with summer rubber(s-04 pole position), and substantially more firm ride. I'm at 42psi also, which contributes to that. Suspension has gone from sport to super sport. I am taking an extended ride today to wring them out.

Cool, glad you enjoy. The firm ride and suspension is what scares me...lol.

The UK is bringing some heat! Our official UK distributor, Prestige Wheel Centre, bringing us some new content with this E63 AMG on our new Vossen VFS-10's and took it to another level with the custom Bronze textured finish! This color combo looks wicked and goes right along with the amazing power packing V8 this E-class has to offer. I would love to drive around the streets of the UK in this thing!

Check out Vossen3D HERE! and customize your ride today!

Nice, I like the look. Are you going to put any tints on? I can't tell if it is lightly tinted or not at all.

How are the results from the paint correction and what is the kitty symbol for lol?

I think I have some major swirl issues and rock chip spots. Nothing that can be seen from afar but def. and issue if you look up close.

Dope. What camera are you using for this video?

I started uploading vids from my dash cam but Youtube would give me issues with music playing in back ground. Or I'd be talking on the phone during the recording and it was just odd to put those up.

Here's one from last year -

Paint correction went well! Got rid of the buff marks from previous winter, and while it can't beat an orbital 2 stage, it did enough to lift the grime off and get it looking wet again.

Clay Bar for the win!

As for the kitty symbol, it's one of these funny decals I found on the internet haha.

What springs did you use, and did you notice a difference in ride quality before you changed the wheels?
