1998 W210 55 AMG rear suspension
Hello guys, I got a few questions..
Currently I have the chance of buying a 98 E55 sedan. The car has a little rear driver door and wheel damage, and few suspension bits are broken. The thing is, since I live in Portugal, and there are about 5 cars total here, I would like to know what's the different parts from a regular w210 for a 55 AMG in terms of suspension..
I read that the shocks as well as the sway bars are different, and that is not a problem. I am more concerned in suspension arms and rear subframes..
If anyone know the actual differences between the 2 would be nice, could play a major part in buying or not the car.
Thanks

One thing you said stuck out as a red flag to me "and few suspension bits are broken"
I am actually looking for a w210 E55/E430 myself (east coast) and came across one that had a similar issue. LOOK FOR RUST! I see this in a lot of the buyer guides and sure enough when I heard a rattle from the back and jacked up a potential purchase I found everything was rusted around the perch.
Be careful and good luck!
