My 2015 E63 (Non-S) with Alcantera steering wheel and Panoramic roof. Coming from a CL55 with a healthy amount of power. Can't wait to tune this thing :-) love the power traction and really just happy cruising in this car
Got it Saturday and just passed over 20000 miles today
Looks really awesome....may I ask how you accomplished your chrome delete?
Thanks much. Had a vinyl wrap shop handle it for me. Took them roughly four hours to do, with the longest amount of time spent on the front grill and star on trunk....next time will probably go the paint route on those, as there are some sharp turns in the pieces. Still looks great, however.
I've finally settled on a look for my car. After acquiring a classic Benz (1988 560SL), I think I came to a deeper understanding of what the brand means. It's supposed to be the more conservative, sophisticated alternative to BMW/Audi, and thus ill-served by attempts to boyracer it out. So I put on my necromancer robes and raised my "murdered" E63 from the dead:
I ripped off all exterior tinting and blackout treatments, plus the roof spoiler and the carbon-fiber mirror housings. This left the Renntech body kit and wheels as the only exterior mods. Plus, I debadged the car fully in prep for a very expensive paint correction and ceramic coating. I will probably at least rebadge the trunk lid, but either way I need to wait three weeks for the coating to cure before doing so.
This is what a $2200 two-stage paint correction and ceramic coating job looks like... stare into the abyss, and the abyss stares back at you:

Looks amazing! I really love the Renntech kit , I have the trunk lid spoiler myself ,Did you have expel installed or is it just ceramic coated ? The car looks wet !

Thanks. No Expel, just Ceramic Pro... they called it the "Silver Plus" package. Two coats of "9H" and one coat of "Light". I'm told it will last 10 years but that seems unrealistic, I expect I will reapply in 5 or so.
Those wheels are growing on me, quickly - for our Lunar Blue I might go with something grey/titanium hue but dang! Hot! Just need something in a size Michelin fits.
E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Mine....
Now that the nice weather appears on the horizon, after Irma, 100 degree days, and more, time to get her out and enjoy a bit...More glamorous pictures later...

That black looks awesome! How much to for Ceramic Pro Silver Plus? Thanks.
