C43 VS....
Hey Guys,
Since the "kill story" thread is pretty much a dead thread i thought maybe could all share the runs you have with you with your C43 sedan or coupe against other cars you have raced. Granted, by no mean am i condoning street racing or anything like that but it happens and i hope in a safe environment where no innocent bystanders can get hurt. Thought maybe we can all share our stories we have and heck maybe even post some videos if we have any. I plan on buying a Gopro so i wont have to talk about my encounters. I hope you all can chime in and maybe tell your stories. It would be best to also include your mods if you have any. Since i am the first post and thread starter ill start:
2017 C43 Coupe
My Performance Mods:
Eurocharge tune Only
Resonator delete (Not sure if this will do anything performance wise)
Non PE exhaust
2008-09 ML63AMG:
Mods: Unknown. Car was definitely modded just from the sound of it.
First run: 4-11
All even till i mis shifted (Was in manual mode) he took about a fender on me
Second Run: 5-12
All even
Guy was a good sport and even gave a thumbs up at the end!
2015 Audi S4-Auto
Mods: Stock
First & Second run-5-12
Took him by 4 car lengths and would of kept pulling on him if we continued
2015 S4-Auto
Mods: Apr tune Stage 1, Resonated Down pipes, Awe exhaust.
First and second run 2-10
I put a car to car and a 1/4 on him.
All done in Mexico of course
Hopefully others can chime in and share their experiences.

I raced a Honda Civic with a giant fart can that sounded terrible.
0-60
I had him by at least 10 car lengths
20-70
I had him by at least 14 car lengths
30-85
I couldn't tell how many car lengths I passed him by because he looked too small in my rear view mirror

What kind of power does the Eurocharged tune make? Why play games, get an AMR or OE tune and really dust the competition. You wouldn't be too far behind a M4 with one of the tunes I mentioned.

Lmao, playing games? I get that AMR advertised those numbers, but still have yet to see one quicker than Eurocharge. They posted slips of the c450 they tuned that ran a 11.9 @ 119 mph. Best from OE and AMR is 12.2 @ 116. Granted i remember a member saying his friend with the AMR tune ran a 11.9. But paying half the price from Eurocharge and getting the same or better results i would rather go with them plus they offer an engine warranty. I plan on taking mine to the track as well.

My AMR tune on my c43 sedan seems to pull much better than my friends eurocharged tuned c43 coupe.. we haven't raced but I've driven his car and he driven mine and he agrees with my speculation..we both need to get to the track though

Not to criticize eurocharged (I am sure their tune is good), but there was no video for this pass to confirm the time slip and they even said they put nitrous on the car. Also, AMR offers an engine warranty program that has a longer mileage allowance the Eurocharged, so that is something to consider as well. Like I said, both are reputable companies, but I favor AMR personally. Let us know if you go to the track! I would love to see what times you run
Not to discredit AMR at all but have anyone even seen their 11.xx slip? Like i mentioned i remember a forum member stating he knew someone who did but if anyone is asking for proof we have yet to see it. The only proof we have is from AMR running the 12.2. Not doubting the tune will hit 11.xx as it takes practice but still.
Granted all dyno numbers are different but so many variables to consider especially when one place is located in CT and another in TX.

Nitrous was done AFTER the tune. That person went an ran the 11.9 tune only they noted that actually quite a few times on their other thread.

However, if any of the tuners who trapped 116+mph are reading this and want to show multi 11.xx sec time slips, sponsor me I'm about 20 minuets away from Etown, and less than an hour from Atco.

I frequent the US eastcoast autobahn i.e. I95 between NYC and Philly every once a week Tues night and wed night btw the time of 9pm and 3am.
My car: 2016 C450 - AMR stage 1 tune and AWE touring exhausts
Vs. 2016 M3 hyper blue
Mods: most likely a tune since it was pretty "riced" out with decals and all.
Pretty even neck to neck at WOT from 60-130 until his crazy *** decided to start weaving in and out of heavy traffic. I dont play with other people's lives so I slowed my pace. But I was impressed how well our cars keep up with the Ms
2015 SQ5
60-100 pretty even acceleration. By 120-140 I was about 4 car lengths ahead. This guy was a good sport, we played it real safe and only went at it on long open strips. He also had his young son in his passenger and I had my sleeping wife fully reclined in my passenger. You'd be surprised how smooth this car feels at 130mph. I know I was.
2017 Maxima Platinum
No contest, I was able to pull 4-10 car length away at any speed. Any time I wish. Another good sport who I eventually flagged down to pull over into the next service station for a quick meet and greet and chat. He so happens to be the photographer for BMW products and events
2008-2012 335i coupe - Stock
Pulled about 2 car lengths once we hit about 100. Maintained that space into 130mph.

Jeebus! Let it go dude.
Besides, if you were more clever you would know that he has owned a C450 and probably still does. But he also enjoys making you look foolish.
Are you on the AMG PL? I am, and CFG is over there too. Fact is, you cannot register on there w/out a c450 or an AMG VIN. And he actually has a couple of helpful troubleshooting threads posted up for dead pedal and weird shifting issue that some of the C450 owners have dealt with.
So anyway...
you=0
CFG=10110100101001001001001
Give it a rest already.

How is the drone specifically?
I have a C450 and a GLC43. The GLC43 is quite a bit quieter than the 450. I'm contemplating a res delete on it but that vehicle is our road trip car. I definitely don't want to introduce a bunch of drone at hwy speed. I would like to hear the exhaust sing a little louder though.

Downshifting to 5th on the highway in Sport+ I've pulled away from Audis (A5 s-line, A4 S-line), a newer 'Stang 5.0 (it was raining haha). A guy I know just got the new Civic Type R so I'm gonna ask him to line 'em up next time i see him (live about 30 min away from a quarter mile track). Numbers say I should have him by a half second +/- a tenth or two, but you never know. Gonna try to film it.

Also, instead of questioning people in threads on a forum and arguing about what a company offers, why don't you contact the company directly and find out. I think AMR can tell you better than anyone what they offer and what their policies entail lol

What does this mean?
Vehicle must have less than 5,000 miles to apply for this program. (exceptions can be made. contact AMR Performance HQ)
Cumulative miles? AMR miles? Either way, it seems a trap for the unwary.

Why don't you ask them lol I would imagine 5,000 miles or less on the vehicle means 5,000 miles or less on the vehicle. That's just me, though.
