I want to start a thread that basically tells people what you have done with your ML for the day. This can be from detailing your car to crashing it. Pictures is a must with description.
I will start...
Placed sport pedals and center console alum. trim on my ML350
Center console alum. trim from ebay. It is real aluminum and has perfect fit. Makes the console tie-in better.
bought two Michelin A/S tires for the rear tires yesteday (2 @ 236 each).. gonna replace the front two later on.. tires for the mercedes man seriously..
We've had a w onderful trouble-free year with our '14 ML350 "Danny". So we bought its twin GL450 two weeks ago, "Arnold". At the risk of getting flamed, I went over the entire ML with Dri-Wash today. It got washed yesterday at the dealer after its "B" service. So today, I got rid of all the water spots, missed spots, etc. For those of you who are as lazy as I am, Dri-Wash is the best. Spray some on a microfiber cloth and wipe it on the car in small sections. Remove with another clean microfiber cloth. Will do the GL after its next car wash. I usually do about every 6 months. The GTO in the garage was painted in 1993. I've used nothing but Dri-Wash on it. Enjoy the photos.

Good question. The elderly avoid going out at night, but tonight was an exception. Drove down to the Houston Maritime Museum for a discussion of the "Jones Act" which reserves US coastwise trade to vessels built in the US, owned and crewed by US citizens. McCain has tried 5 times to get it repealed. Anyway it is 9:43 pm as I write this, having just gotten home. My street is dark and I made an effort to see how headlights compared to the bi-xenon's on the Durango I just traded in for the GL. Yes, I would be happy with brighter lights, but I didn't feel unsafe. I'm sure I would have seen any hazards in time. BTW, AZN quoted me $150.00 for an HID kit. Might do that in the early winter when it ain't so friggin' hot like is at this moment...86 degrees and humid.....

999 HP, 14.6 liters, 895 cubic inches, 1,104 Lb Ft of torque, and they all drink Premium.
Color and price were paramount. We live in a colorless world of cars. White, black, gray. You can call it Obsidium, Selenite, Pearl, etc, but they're all black, white, or gray. The wife likes black, hence the ML. I traded in a red Durango for the Cinnabar Red GL. Sometimes it looks red, sometimes, brown, and sometimes maroon for the A&M Aggies. As we were concluding the deal, a guy came in looking to buy it for its color. Too late. So getting the lighting package was not high on the list. It has 3 row air which is great, and Parktronic for the 360 camera. Otherwise a Plane Jane like the GTO, which BTW, is Gulf Turquoise.

I see, enjoy the GL, my ML is just about the same as your wifes ML(minus the ambients (as you mentioned in a thread), 360, BSA).
You're in Fl. It rains practically every day during the summer. I give you kudos for wishful thinking though.... *wink*
PS: East or west coast?
It hadn't rained for several days here in Miami, but with my luck it rained last night and to top it off this car usually sleeps in the garage but I left it outside.
I never leave the Beemer outside overnite in FL. I had a garage door panel replaced under warranty a year ago, the tech told me confidentially that the grey water from the sprinkler system was to blame for the rusted-out door panel. Scared the crap outta me. Since then, the truck sleeps indoors overnite without exception
It was a little cooler today and raining all day again so I finally changed the diesel fuel filter in the ML. Was putting it off as it looked a little involved but did not take nearly as long as I expected.

Hey Kartergreg,
I also need to replace mine, would like to do it myself this time, I read a lot of post related, some people had issues with turbo resonator pipe, which kind of goes right over the diesel filter, and with seals, pink and green ones.
Did you replace seals as well?
Any recommendations?

I have a 2013 so I had to remove the resonator pipe. It was a little tricky, but I got it done. I replaced the clic lok clamps with standard fuel injection clamps.

You must have read the same detailed post as I did about doing this. Was not too difficult. Definitely buy a new seal that goes between the pipe and the turbo. My old one was brittle and crumbled. I had no problem with any other seals
