I for one think this is a stunning vehicle, along the lines of some iconic Mercedes models of the past.
The dimensions are clearly over the top but as a concept car it is supposed to provide a view of the future design language.
Clean elegance, no warped angles and bends you see these days, especially the from front view.
After looking at all images (including with the top up) I went to compare it to images of the Rolls Royce Dawn; what a difference. That car looks clunky and average compared to it.

Unfortunately, after the bean counters have their way with it, as they did when the magnificent Ocean Drive concept got watered all the way down to the lackluster S Cabriolet, it will probably end up being the new SLK or some such disappointing, unexciting thing.

Completely agree. A modern day 500K Special Roadster. IF they were to actually build something close to this, it would be amazing. I especially like the little 3-pointed star sitting on top of the hood, where it belongs.

The Ocean Drive IMO was not a tangible design for production, just like the caddy. 4 door cabs will not happen from a structural integrity standpoint.
Design apart, I love that blue paint, coupled with white leather and wood. Just classy
