Hey guys I'm selling this air box for the C43. Anyone that sees this but wants one for a different Mercedes, let me know.
This box is like the one I made for Pjmac but this one has a bell mouth on the inside. Bell mouths on intakes have been tested to make 3-5 HP. I have not dyno this box but it sure does make a difference in how the throttle responds as well as the acceleration. I LOVE how this air box brings life to the engine. A must have for those looking for better acceleration and power.
The Bell Mouth air box comes with my modded elbow as well. With these two mods your car will perform much better! Price is $435.00 plus shipping. Price may go higher in the future, will see. Thank you sir! The bell mouth really does make a difference. I'm going to try including one in every air box. Including the other air boxes I make for the c55 and others. Worth the effort to put one in there.
I have some interest on this one hopefully it's sold by Friday.
Just an update, this air box is sold. To one of my first customers who actually encouraged me to add a bell mouth. He had mentioned that with a bell mouth in the air box it would make it complete ... at the time I just didn't know how to build one in there.
I'm going to make another one as I have one last spare air box. If you're interested let me know.
