for 3 yrs. That's decent.
For a regular E400 (MY18), the same 3 yr residual is listed as 56% but the interest rate is 3.9%. That would mean, if this E400 has an interest rate of 5.9%, the equivalent residual would be at 61%.
E43 (MY18), 3 yr residual is listed as 55% and interest rate is 3.9%.
vs
A BMW MY18 M550Xdrive, current leasing info :
36 months
20,000km per year
4.9%
Residual 56%

E63 2018 E1
provided it gets released from Halifax... I was able to negotiate a decent discount from my SA at the Downtown Toronto Store. He is rock solid and has always taken care of me. PM me for details if you like. I tried to get an Edition 1 but it is allocated already and unorderable. Further for some reason Mercedes won’t let you get the sport seats and intelligent drive on any orders...
I have an E1 assigned since July which is in Halifax too. Dealer said maximun end of August it should be here. We are mid Sept and still no news. I was wondering if all the E63 in Canada are having the same problem (homologation).
Oh and how much discount were you able to get?

Sorry for bringing the old thread back to life. I found this was probably most relevant. I am considering a 2019 E63s. While I was at the dealer, the rep said I cannot spec the car without premium if I were to lease. Does that make sense? It is a corporate store in GTA.
I know most get the premium but I usually do not spec the car a lot especially if I plan to keep the car long term. My rationale has always been more means more can break.
Also, can anyone share about how much off MSRP they got for 2018? Do these discounts usually stack with current promotion such as the "spring event" currently on?
Thanks

Hmm. You can try another dealer and see. I think dealer would want the car to have some options when the car is returned after the lease for a better chance for resale purpose, given it is a luxury segment and people buying used still want to get options on the car.
I am seeing dealers are now having a few in stock 18 in their showrooms. If you are ready to buy one in stock, I think you can do 5 - 5.5%, As for factory credit, there is none for this model at all. Alternatively, if you wait til around October - December, you may get a much bigger discount on the leftover 2018, probably in the 8-9% range + perhaps get them to throw in a prepaid maintenance package as well to sweeten the deal.

I ended up going with MB Brampton; dealt with Roger Grossi- stand up guy; he had zero restrictions, and ordered a MY19 without premium @ 3% off MSRP.

Too many
in the us the dealer does not care what you order, because the deal is between customer and MBFS , and at the time of lease end , the dealer have the option to buy car or not and you can return to any dealer not the one that you leased the car from
Is this different in Canada ???

You can spec the car which ever way you like option wise, but it depends on the dealer, and if they are willing to give you their allocation. MB Burlington said I could have a car with premium by June-July, while for a non-premium I would have to wait longer, and they hinted I would need to put down a non-refundable deposit.

Thanks. I went to MB Burlington, spoke with Gary. Great guy! Let me try out the performance seats in an GT-R. He said the same thing. He said the factory won't build one without premium package. It is odd. An option that is mandatory shouldn't be called an option. They also offer up to 3% off MSRP. I am surprised to see that others are getting 5% off MSRP earlier in this thread.
Thank you for the suggestion on going with a 2018 model later this year. That's what I thought too. My other car's lease is up in December. So, I really don't need another car until October. The wait will be painful though.

AMG Night package

The one thing I would want from premium is the power trunk close. The other thing I want to try is the standard seat. I wonder if it is the same as the multi contour seats in default setting. I never adjust my seats nor do I see myself using massage. That's why I felt the premium would be a waste. I wish we can spec the car like the US can.

Wow, was just looking at that Canadian price sheet, things sure are different in Canada with options and prices and packages than in the USA from what I've seen so far. Sucks too that you can't get the heated windshield wheres especially you guys in Canada could really use that option. I notice too that you have no option for the line Magnolia wood as a trim, I really do hope that is still available here as I ordered it and it should look beautiful. Your Premium 3 package seems like it's a lot more than in the USA from what I'd seen on the sedan prices
Yes, the heated windshield is available for $650. We get most things standard here, at a lower price.
I think the lowest price for MBs in the World, is in Canada.

Economy of scale. It's more expensive logistically to have a million different combinations of options but you have to balance it with demand for a higher priced, fully loaded as standard car. I'm usually the "just give me everything" buyer so I love when you have something like the CLK Black Series were the only option was an ipod adapter so all that mattered when shopping for one was what color you wanted.
