Why do you have an E55 Badge on it? Looks good to me, except the badge and the headrests.... still a beautiful car, love the rims, and good luck sellin' her, must be hard to say goodbye...

 

I badged it E55 cause I wanted to be different...The head rests are checkerd because it represents the last flag waved because the interior is from a pace car. I have about 50% of people that like it and the other 50% dont....It's really just a personal opinion on if you like that stuff or not. I like it because I know what it represents and where it came from. But some people do make fun of it saying I should hang some 8 ***** up hehe....I really hate to get rid of her because I did so much freaking work to it myself and i take pride in doing work myself. Sucks . But it's time to get ready for my married life and life being a cop hehe.

hehe....I am actually allowed to get glow lights under the car "if" approved. There are a few officers that have them under there car. Mostly DARE officers but a few just partol people have them for looks. I would wanna get approved hehe.

 

Now, those would look hot on the Korean squad cars........

You wanted to be different, so you put E55 badges on an E420? Your car isn't an E55, regardless of what interior/wheels you have. Being different, and flat out lying by trying to make your car be something it isn't are two different things. Putting an E55 badge on an E420 is the same as these stupid riceboys who put M3 badges on 318s, TypeR stickers on Civic Dx's, etc. E55 bages belong on E55s - not E300s, E320s, E420s, E430s or E500s.

You aren't being different, you are being stupid. People laugh at things like that, they don't admire it as being different. Do us a sensible favor, ditch the rice and take off the badges. Your car IS NOT an E55.

What does taste has to do with this? You can modify the car any way you want. But to lie about your car is simply tasteless. Getting laughed at is more than justified.

MarcusFrost settle down man. Kinda says that you just think you're super cool with your E55 and that no wannabe's should sport the badge and attempt to reach the levels of cool that you represent....

On the other hand, putting E55 badges on a car thats not an E55 is being such a wannabe it's ridiculous. Kinda says that you really buy into status symbols and want so badly to be whatever status you imagine an e55 would get you, that you're willing to lie and rebadge your car. That's lame.
