My son & I were guests of Team McLaren Mercedes at the USGP last weekend - I won the AMG Private Lounge F1 contest. Absolutely awesome experience, despite the race outcome!

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. It really was a hoot!

I'm glad I got to see JPM's last F1 start (and dnf ). Among Team McLaren drivers, I've always favored Kimi in a big way, but I don't wish JPM any ill luck in his career change. He seemed a nice enough guy from what little I could judge, though I'll never be a NASCAR fan.

I understand Frank Williams offered him a ride, but he turned it down.

Frankly, I'm really more interested on who's going to be paired with Alonso next year . . .
