Hi all,

Does anyone know where the sunroof fuse for a 2008 GL320 CDI is located? I changed my battery and can not locate the fuse to reset the sunroof. I would think that this should be in the same location for all GL modles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sun roof doesnt have a fuse.. if you change the batt you will need to re sync the sun roof and all the windows

According to the user manual for the car, the sequence is to open the driver door, then close the door, then remove the sunroof fuse, then put the fuse back in place and press upwards on the sunroof button until in opens in the upwards direction and hold the button pressed for 1 second. Since I could not find the location of the fuse, I used the unlock button on the car key until everything opened, then I closed everything with the key, which allowed me to perform the reset sequence without having to locate and remove the fuse.
I’m surprised that that book for the car says to remove a fuse when it doesn't have one.
Either way, I was able to do it.

On my 2007 GL450 the "Panorama Sunroof" fuse is #42-25amp, located in the trunk on the right side. Your 2008 GL320 fuse may be different.

Thank you for the info, this makes more sense. It wouldn't surprise me if this is the same location for the fuse in my car as well.

Does anyone know if there is a chart for the fuses on a 2008 E320 CDI .
I have looked everywhere, the car did not have one under the fuse cover.
A link to a PDF file or a copy of the original would be appreciated.
