2008 CLS63 AMG
2008 CLS63 AMG secondary air filter

Changed intake air filters on 08 CLS63 AMG without problem - it took a pair of MANN C 3361-2. But inside the upper air filter cover is a smaller paper filter. It is labeled MANN AE2802 06 11140A. It is a smaller, thinner filter and probably POA upper air filter cover. Well, I want to replace them, but I can't find any reference to it anywhere! Does someone know the part number or a cross reference number? I only found one description "dry air filter". Where can I find one? Need help.

Did you ever get a reply, or did you find this part? I am looking for the same part for a 2011 E63 AMG

From the factory, Mercedes AMG vehicles with US Spec M156 engine are equipped with charcoal filters installed in the upper halves of the filter cover. MB does not require these filters to be changed therefore, EPC does not list OEM part #s for them. If steadfast on changing best to research aftermarket brands/sources.

Konigstiger, thank you for the reply. These are looking a bit tired, they are afterall 7 years old. So what you are saying is there is NO way to get replacements for them? See the problem is that if you remove them both, and just run with filters the engine acts very strange at certain and stutters RPM ranges. So these clearly have an impact on how the engine breaths and I want to replace them. Any ideas?
