2015 S Class Sedan: Looking for trunk umbrella holder

My car is a 2015 Mercedes S550 4Matic Sedan. Past models had a trunk mounted clip/bracket to hold an umbrella. I can't seem to find one of those that will fit my model.
Does anyone have any idea if it exists for this model and year? How can I find one if it does exist?
Thanks in advance.
Don

Looks something like this.....

Thank you....,

Thank you, I didn't think they were offering it as an option any more.
I'll order one and try to install it myself. I appreciate your response.

Cordially,
Don

So I did it! I recently traded in my W221 and purchased a 2015 W222. With that, I removed my umbrella holder from the W221 and successfully installed it in my W222. I have a post on the W221 forum with the part numbers of everything I used, and everything transferred over with no issues to my W222. Below are the pictures:

Thanks for putting your insights, I didn't know S Class had that option . However, that makes me ask a question : Where's that umbrella ?

Were the holes already in the trunk lid inner steel panel on the W222 like they were on the W221, or did you have to create the holes? When I installed this on my W221, the holes were already stamped out of the sheet metal. It made installation very simple.

Installation was exactly as it was for the W221. The holes are already stamped out of the sheet metal just like it was with the W221; insert the treenails into the holes to catch the screws, make the holes through the liner and screw the holder into place.....done!

It’s rare that I ever saw any w221 with this. I think it’s a port installed thing. Like an accessory item. Also haven’t seen any w222 with it yet.

Whats cost???

I paid $36 total shipped a couple years back when I put it in my W221, and as mentioned above, same part #s work for W222.

I just bought one of these from ebay.. Did you have to pull the liner? Cut slots in the liner for the tabs? Were they marked on the back side of the liner?

Mounts on trunk lid panel using treenail part #6399980185 (210 in diagram), and screw 4.2x25 # 000000000525 (220). See attachment.

Yes, I pulled the liner back just a bit, from the bottom, where you will see two square holes centered. Those square holes are where you put the treenails to catch the two screws. I measured distance from square holes to the plastic rivet holes on both sides and poked through with a screwdriver. FYI, you will also have to remove the two plastic "arm covers" #130 in the diagram above to be able to peel liner back. Hope this helps....

My friend has one of these from his old w221 that he said he'd GIVE TO ME. He just has the holder piece and no screws. I have a lot of screws in my parts bin, etc. If I only have the back holder that he gives me, do I need anything special to attach it besides some basic screws??? Hope someone can answer this.

Just the treenails or part# 210 from the diagram above to catch the screws. The part# for the treenails that I used is A639 998 01 85.

Yes, exactly that.....they snap into the square holes that you will find under the liner.

That's cool! You think it will be as strong?

Not all of them have this for some reason, but this is cool graphic...

Maybe you could add "S class or no class" ha

I meant print the treenail things. I might be able to print that but I'd have to work out springs and such.

I did print something like the treenail to go in the square holes to run screws in. I'll post some pics this week.
