Best quarter mile times with a stock C63 S
#2
I have yet to take mine to the drag stip but what do you consider "stock". No mods including the original wheels/tires from the factory? Because the original tires are going to hold back times unless your track is really well prepped.

My C63S T (station wagon) did 12.5 @ 121 mph on a normal street with a lot of salt und a slight upslope. Measured with the Racelogic Performance Box (without 5ft rollout).
0-287km/h (0-179mph):

In my 2015 Edition 1 Sedan BONE STOCK, full tire pressure, full weight full tank of fuel I went 11.603 @120 with about 3000 miles on the car.
In my 2017 Edition 1 coupe BONE STOCK, full tire pressure, 3/4 fuel and full weight I went 11.51 @ 124 with about 475 miles on the car.
It's all about traction!

Times are about traction, speed is not. 124mph is very high for a non-S coupe! In my opinion too high, as the coupe tends to be a bit slower than the sedan 100-200km/h (62-125mph).

I was mistaken on my trap speed!!! It was 120 not 124.
I did a good burnout then feathered it until I felt completely engaged. I went full throttle about half way through 1st gear.

You should try more runs with grippier tyres and shock a few people

Right lane is me. This was full weight full tank of gas 16 c63s sedan. This was also using no launch control just flooring it off the line. I had 0 spinning at all and actually had so much traction I bogged a bit. When I go back next week I will use race start and expect a big decrease in time.

The fastest instrumented magazine test for the C63S Coupe is 12.0@121 by Car & Driver.
I've seen DSawyer63's videos and the timeslips, so his cars ran those times. But to say that they were "stock" is a complete ****ing joke. They aren't even "S" models. Anyone who believes this should have their head checked.
(this is coming from the guy who was beating "700whp" cars with his headers/tune W204 C63 - https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...lmost-new.html)

I'm taking my stock C63S Coupe to New England Dragway when it opens in April - I'll be sure to share my results then - timeslips and videos to come

ill also be taking my sedan out locally and will post time slips. I do have wider rear tires though but it's completely stock aside from that.
