Spacers size for 17 C63S Coupe, non-lowered ?

Hey guys and possible girls,

Picking up my new 17 C63S coupe in 2 weeks. I'm thinking of getting spacers to flush the rims. What do you guys recommend for front and back ? The car is not lowered at the moment..... Where to buy to ? Thank you...

Also I'm new to the board... Coming from the dark side... from a modded Audi S5.......

Thanks

Dr. T

Look at the following thread
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...oupe-17-a.html

I have 18 mm spacers on front and back on a non-lowered C63S cab w standard 19 in front and 20 in rear wheels. Front is perfectly flush, and rear sticks out a little. Pix are towards end of the above thread.

I bought spacers from Supreme Power.

I bought my spacers from Supreme Power as well. I did 18mm up front and 15mm in the back. I think this is a the way to go without making the car (non-lowered) awkward.

Let me know if you want to see pictures

I'm not running spacers but do have 305 in the rear and gives it a mean look.

Looks mean. 305/30/20 out back with no rubbing issues? What are you running for the fronts?

There are alot of opinions on spacers and alot of threads (you have been linked above). I personally have 18mm squared but Im dropped and the tires are right there at the fender if not ever so slightly tucked. If you are not going to lower, I would suggest a less aggressive spacer as the wheel height gap between fender and tire, once spaced out aggressively, really exposes the gap visually. So maybe a 15mm max all the way around but this is my opinion.

Thank you everyone....

If I were to lower, what do you guys recommend for coilovers ? I will be driving this car in the winters. Which I then will raise and have my winter wheels on...

No rubbing at all and the fronts are still stock. May up them to 265 when they need to be changed.

Nice, I'm was planning on doing this when my rears need replacing (with those Pilot Sport 4S). My only concern is that the front/rear ratio, you would need 275's up front to keep it stock. Though I'm sure 265's would suffice?

We will see maybe I will run 275 when the time comes. Just replaced the rears about 600-700 miles ago so got some time until that is.

We have 18mm spacers in stock in case anyone is looking! We did Vic's car and with the drop it looks phenomenal. Also recommend KW H.A.S. Kit for lowering.

MY C63S coupe will be my daily driver here in Toronto... Will raise it up via KW H.A.S for the winters with snows... Think I'm crazy to do this ?

Coming from a modded Audi S5, which will was obv. AWD.

Thoughts ?

I was going to do the same here in Boston but I ended up getting another daily. It wasn't because the AMG was not drivable in snow (I am sure it will be fine with snow tires) but I did not want it to be covered with salt. I used to daily my RWD 335i with snow tires and I got stuck only once lol

Not at all, that's the beauty of the HAS. You can pull off each wheel and use the KW tool to spin the height selector. Of course I recommend an alignment each time you raise and lower but that will be twice a year in your case. As for the AWD part I have no clue about driving in the snow
