No idea what this thing is called but one of the plastic snaps holding it to the car broke. On an unrelated note, I can also confirm that the netting is too small to hold a growler from your favorite local brewery.
I don't store much in it but am not surprised that it snapped with that huge bottle placed in there. I think it's meant for a few documents or sunglass case, etc...
Did the plastic hook actually break, or did it just pop out of the carpet? If it didn't physically snap, you should be able to put it back in by turning it 90*.
Hmmm. Mine (a '13 CPO) came with a broken one too. Had the dealer replace and fix it last time I brought it in. Not sure what I'm going to store in it yet -- if anything. Will probably just leave it there for the Mrs. to use.
