My dealer enabled my Mercedes Me account and I can activate my vehicle in my iPhone app. The service offers nothing else other seeing my car picture in the app. All I am interested in is the Tracking (in case it is stolen) and remind me that my car is not locked.
I called Mercedes and they said this service cost £29 a year. Is this normal?

So this service comes free for 3 years if you have comand but is chargeable if you have the basic audio 20 setup, at least when I bought mine in 2015.

Yea, I took the plunge and bought 1 years subscription. Its OK, but a bit hit and miss if it works. Probably won't bother to renew.
Tracking is a separate subscription to the one that lets you know if it's unlocked I think.
I don't have the tracking one.

Personally I'd trade this malarkey of remotely knowing your tyre pressures etc for the concierge service in a minute. Only on E class I'm told. Shame as I've enjoyed concierge on my BMW for the last 7 years!

I was told by Mercedes Me customer service. They have one service with 1/2/3 years subscription (£29/£49/£69). If taken, the lot including Tracking should be active. I was hoping the tracking will reduce my insurance premium to subsidise the annual fee but my insurance company charge the same premium with or without tracker. I am going to skip this.
