Do I need to replace the windshield from MB
Hi, my 2015 CLA45 windshield is broken- a larger than a dollar bill crack in the middle. Do I need to replace it with MB dealership(The original manufacturer one)? My insurance only covers the after market one which costs around $600. The original at dealership is about $1200.

Current :2018 E63S and a 2017 GLE 63S . Prior, CLA 250, C450 AMG, 2017 AMG C63S
I imagine that if you have a lease, you probably should replace it with a MB windshield. I would also gather that if you sell it, a new buyer would want an OEM windshield, plus you may get less money on the sale for an aftermarket one. just my two cents.
