I saw this intake on a you tube vid of a GAD w205 C63S today.

Whats everyone think of this setup?

Probably works just fine. Would be more optional to have a cold air intake rather than a hot air intake, but temps should become reasonable through the intercooler anyways... But even then, cooler is always better...

EDIT: didn't see initially that they are connected to the air intake inlets... So they should get cold air... Still has too many bends, though, for optimal air flow. In the end you just have to test it out and see the real world numbers. Until then, it's all just conjecture.

Looks like the boxes seal hard up against the bonnet to stop the hot engine bay air entering the boxes.

I wonder if the larger surface area of these pod filters make much of a difference over the factory air box flat filters.

I've seen these other intake set ups as well.

In the last photo its Andrew's setup. Love these style better then the carbon fiber ones that are 2-4k on the maket. Surprised no one has created one out of plastic that work and look like these. Already its been said the stock intake is very restrictive on the C63s's

No vented hood.

Some dyno graphs would be great for these setups.

I think i Ng I like the first setup with the open boxes that seal against the bonnet but with Carbon intake tubes.

We have this in stock. I have sold quite a few sets. Increases the volume of the stock air box coupled with high flow air filters.

wow bold claim of 25 rwhp with just these. Any pictures of what the actual product looks like? Assuming its a spacer and bolts for 450 correct? No filters for that price correct?

Can you explain how volume increases results in increase power? Would think increasing flow is the issue though again you guys may know more on the subject.

Filters are included.

Similar results have be obtained on the M157. You can view this thread at your leisure.

Didn't you read the description on the website with the data.
I have respectfully started in my previous post that I will post some graphs when I get them for individuals / non biased 3rd parties so please be patient and you will have the info.

Sure did, seems like a great theory just surprised one won't show data behing a product they created especially when its "said" go give more rwhp. hell most everyone would believe you just throw up a dyno graph of a heat strocked multiple run w205. Use the heat stroked run as before and the better run as after intake is installed.

Sorry to bust your ***** bro just strange to offer something with out your own results and request dyno's runs and results from your customers. Won't air flow volume testing simliar to what the ported blower guys use be ideal for this type of product? BTW i'm not saying i wouldn't purchase this either i probalby would / will if there was some data behind it.

Understood and we will work on getting a non related 3rd party to post up a review in a new thread.

BTW the reason i didn't purchase your kit on my last w204 c63 was because i didn't believe it would make that much of a difference. If i'm not the only one thinking this then maybe there are others.

But then again EC ATX posted dyno results for M156 kit.

So there are/will be 4 more options:

1. Arma https://www.armaspeedusa.com/product...ber-intake-kit
seems to be a nice sets, I would just be a bit concerned about the openings on the side of the box (hot air from the engine bay?) 1999$

2. Dime http://dimeracing.com/store/m177-car...ox-system.html looks realy good but the price is high 3999$

3. Weistec http://weistec.com/all/c/c-63/2015-w...oxes-m177.html there is still no price but it should be released in the next 1-2 weeks (according to weistec)

4. Eventuri will release a kit at the end of year/ beginning of the next year

At the moment I wait for the price and results from Weistec and than choose between Dime & Weistec
