Wondering about this also. I'm looking for the front SAM connector. Is that located in the engine bay? And if so, how would I route a wire from the center console to the engine bay? Thanks!

So how are you routing the cable from the center console to the SAM connector? If you can post some pictures of your install, I think it would be super helpful for people who buy the Aeroworkz Ambient Lighting system.

I had no photos didnt take any have you looked at the installation guide from Aerowerkz? ill splice the wires from left b pillar with the ones from console under the steering wheel. There is space in the upper left under the air vents to put the wires

Gotcha. So the wires that go from the center console lighting tubes can be routed behind the trim pieces that go under the steering wheel? I'm getting my kit tomorrow, so I'm just trying to gather as much information as possible before I tear my dash apart.

Yes its easy no problem with that. The hardest part of the whole install was the door trim metalclips ( u need 2 small screwdrivers) or something like that. Good luck with the install

Is this the front SAM connector? It's a blue connector that is to the left and above the OBD port. How do I remove it? Couldn't find any clips or grips on it. Thanks!

Yeah I ran the program before I installed the lighting. I can see the Ambient Lighting menus and they are set to "Polar" and "5" for brightness.
Did you need to reconnect the entire console back together before being able to see the Lighting?

I Spent some time watching YouTube videos last night and the hardest/time consuming part seems to be removing the door trim clips.

So I just received my kit and I have a couple questions, can please help shed some light before I set out on this install adventure.
- Are all the connectors for the doors the same? ( 4)
-Did you have to use loctite for the center console or only the doors?
-are any of you local and looking to make some cash for in person guidance no labor just direction? lol...... I'm half joking half serious on this question Riverside, CA

Are you pushing in the black locking tube and spreading the ends of the clip or completely removing the metal clips?
