2009 CL 63
2009 CL63 AMG

Iridium Silver/ Black, 64k miles, Fully Loaded and everything is in perfect shape. Maintained with open checkbook, Just performed Service "B" last week, all new batteries and tires within past few months. I love the car and has been great but I'm thinking about getting new S Cab to replace this one. Was going to sell before but decided to keep the car because I wasn't ready to let it go...Any questions just ask. I open to the best offer, haven't put on eBay yet or anything I wanted to give the forum the first shot in case anyone here was looking..

Someting British, something German
Based on his the thread from last year, and the subsequent price discussion, I'm going to guess low 40s?

Sorry I was in a rush when putting up the post and knew I was forgetting something....I thought 36k would be fair price since I just had major service done and car is immaculate. Dealer said they would offer me strong trade but I haven't gone back by with it yet. I see cars like mine selling for up to 45k(black one in Dallas at Dealership) but I want to put in the hands of the next owner myself. Any questions just ask. pm me if you like..

Thanks, yes it is.....And in superb condition as well. Been getting a ton of calls and emails but no one has bought yet, everyone is either trying to get me to owner finance or has some type of trade they want to do. One guy offered a boat, modded four wheeler and Razer as trade. All his toys should be worth well over $40k but I don't want the hassle of selling summer toys right now. Just want someone who is serious and can actually buy the car to come along.

Good looking car. I am currently in the market but unfortunately the mileage is a little too high for me. Also, a bit of a heads up, these cars go for low 30's with 30-40k miles on them currently. You might be able to get a decent deal trading it in.

Yeah prices seem to be everywhere, If anyone is serious and comes to me with cash I'll make a deal. I get about 4 "serious" buyers a week but everyone wants me to take payments or some type of trade deal. One guy wanted to "test drive" for the weekend to see if he liked it and have his mechanic check it out. I told him I had no issue with a ppi but I just got out shop from having all the services performed and if it needed anything it would have been done. I'm thinking about just putting on eBay or auto trader and seeing if that will bring me anyone serious. If it does great but if not I have no problem keeping the car. One of the serious buyers ended up buying a 2008 car out of Dallas for 30k with 90k miles. Car looks clean but he keeps having cel issues and he said one time at a stop light the whole dash lite up light a Christmas tree. Drove a preowned 2016 yesterday with 10k miles and asking 120k, still like the lines of my car better and honestly can't tell that big of difference in way they drive for price difference.

This car is pristine and has been whole time I've owned it, now our 2008 CL65 had serious issues all around. Computers kept going out, turbo went out, wheel bearing issues etc. Spent 20k to keep on road before we sold it to next guy, luckily for him its been a great car with zero issues so far but I wasn't gonna take that chance after dumping so much money into it. I keep everything in perfect shape for the next guy so have no problem maintaining everything with an open checkbook, whoever buys my boat is gonna be one lucky happy sob.......lol

Seems like a good example, but people just go by book value. Nadaguide has it as 36.6k for retail and 26.6k for rough trade in. My guess is that you'll get something like rough trade in from most dealers. Average and clean trade in is in the $29.5-$31.9 range. Most of the time, listings which are priced at retail and higher tend to linger, the ones priced at rough trade in sell quickly.

Had couple used dealers offer me 29-31 to outright buy it, think I'm just gonna let the dealership do their job. MB Woodlands is who I had set up to use for financing or inspections if needed, they call few times a week asking if sold so when I get the time I'll give to them. I had a truck I was selling before asking 41k for and couldn't get anyone serious. Gave to a used dealer for $37k and they had sold in 4 days for 48k, guess its all in the marketing. I think I'm going to just order a 2018 S63 coupe and wait for new body style to come out. My sales guy said will be totally new car next year so no matter what I buy I will take a bath on, I know of several S550 coupes with under 10k miles selling for $82-$89k already and S63 coupes with 10K miles are going for around $110-$117. The $117k car was a $197k msrp 2016 car, was told it sold so cheap because was blue which is tough to sell.
