Service price
Hello everybody!
Just bought 560SL (1988, 49k) and wondering how much service could cost. I don't live in USA and had no idea about prices. Already received an offer and wondering how real is it, because 750$ for brake disks change looks overpriced for me... Could you please advice where can I find appropriate service&parts prices?

Dear Brave sole, regardless of what country you live in drive around and get some estimates---no doubt the duty on new auto parts are high and call a dealership to get an estimate---If you are trying to do the job your self or asking the gardener to do the job----have him search for parts on line.

Even in Dubai i paid for my 911 disks change less 250$ in dealership..
That's surprising...
Could you please advice where can I check service price except dealer (I'm sure they will ask highest price). Thank you in advance!

That cheap price is no doubt because you use Russian brake pads. They only last for 500km and you have to change them again--That's called the "ruski shuffle"
If you are in NY you no doubt live around Coney Island---drive around and get some estimates. There are all sorts of shops located there.
