Just thought I would share the new wrap with everyone. I originally had Obsidian Black and wrapped the entire car with the Xpel Stealth Matte protection which changes the original colour to a
Satin finish and protects it from any debris, stone chips and surface scratches. Not cheap but the car looks amazing and never have to worry about following a truck to closely on the hwy.
Sekandskin in Mississauga. They do some amazing work and have the contract with Lambo Toronto which does say something about their work. Speak to Tiago or Madison they are the owners.
The PPF costs more because it's a thicker film and much more difficult to install. Cost vary but your right about $6000 total.
I priced one (wagon) fully covered with Xpel or Suntek Ultra with a bunch of reputable shops in GTA ... i was quoted $5200 - $5500 + taxes .. most shops need about 3 days to do the entire car
btw, I see your pics are taken at Ave & Eglinton ..

Make sure they are not using a kit and wrapping the edges. Tiago is a buddy of mine and he insisted that it be hand cut as the install will look way better and he will be able to wrap every single edge and not have any lines or cuts showing whatsoever. This was especially important because I was going from gloss to matte. If you are just doing a PPF clear then it does not matter as much.

This is exactly what I plan on doing when I get my car. How does the look compare to the factory matte black option?
So the PPF Matte is amazing. No swirls, scratches, scuffs and the thing self heals. I can take it through a touch wash and it won't leave a single mark. The colour itself is not available in Canada for the E63 and looks a little darker than factory matte. It's more of a Satin finish. I will post some sunny day pics whenever it clears up in the great white north.
Still waiting for my wagon to show up, after it was unexpectedly delay in production for nearly 40 days. I was supposed to take delivery by end of October ... now, I have no clue of when. My dealer is so lazy in finding out for me ... in some extent, it was like I was hounding him for information ... LOL.
I am in North Toronto (Bayview & Finch) and work near Yorkdale Mall area.
That looks awesome. Makes me think about switching to black and doing what you did... I prefer the Edition 1 matte black over the Selenite Grey Magno matte... nicely done.
That looks good. How did they wrap the car with the emblems? Did they remove and stick on new ones, cut around it?
They remove all the badges and door handles and then put them back on again, after they wrap the body. They need to remove the door handles to wrap the handles properly.
